TEMPEH - Organic, Made in Vermont, 32 oz (2 Lbs) - case of 5

I love that it's made in the US, it's organic, and it's tasty! The quality is great, and I now have a freezer full so I'm happy. Nice and nutty with a firm texture, this is exactly how tempeh should be.This shipped frozen but was completely thawed, of course, by the time it arrived. It's sealed nicely, however, and it's perfectly safe. I refroze 4 of the packages and kept one out for use. I've made 3 dishes in a week with it, and it's excellent. I highly recommend this product.

After the pandemic struck, I didn't feel like searching for light life tempeh at every health food store near me, so I decided to give this a try. It's excellent and extremely cost-effective. We usually cut each large block into four pieces, making the the four pack into 16 dinners for two people. It has a great taste and arrives cold. We have ordered twice, and will continue to! A little tip, we always steam our tempeh for 15 minutes on each side. We think it makes it just that much more yummy.

Just what I needed to reduce animal protein in favor of more vegetable protein. This product arrived fresh in a cold packed mailing box. I froze the bulk of my purchase and used the first package for: tempeh bacon, ground beef extender, mackerel extender, and salad topping. I am pleased with the versatility and freshness of my purchase purchase.

I would rather buy in less quantity as I do not like to have to freeze stuff. But with the pandemic, this is great to have readily at hand. And made delicious when you can find the right recipes....
