I knew as this book was American that I wouldn't be the greatest cook book, but it uses mostly packet mixes, shortening and vegetable fats and I was disappointed, even angry that it was so bad, I was not looking for some shortcuts but even the tiniest incite into Mexican food would have been nice. Next time I say to myself, it's cheap, even if it's not very good it will be ok, I'll think twice

If you love Mexican food and who don't then you need to check out this cookbook great main dishes, sides and desserts aling with some really delicious appetizers and drinks. This cookbook has all you need for a really fantastic Mexican dinner. Thank you and enjoy your meal and enjoy your day.

A good handy reference for all the staples...guacamole, salsa, margaritas, enchiladas...... etcetera ...but also some other nice recipes for cocktails , desserts ( including flan and dulce de leche cake...yummy!!!) and some other entrees that I haven't tried...yet!!!I liked the idea of the Margarita Melon Salad and also the Fruit Quesadillas....both sounded really delicious .If you like Mexican food ... I do recommend picking up this kindle freebie from Amazon.I noted a couple of errors in the recipes but nothing serious...I am sure that oven temperature of 4000 degrees was really meant to be 400....and the word chicken was used instead of cheese in a cheese enchiladas recipe...fairly self explanatory errors that the reader can easily figure out.

This book has cookies, cakes, salads besides good entrees. I highly recommend it, if you want to try some new dishes, this book has a broad variety.

I originally got this book for an authentic Horchata recipe but there are so many good recipes in here..
