He’s witty and tender. I just can’t get enough.

No ham, a lot of wry.
In my opinion, this is his best book of poetry. HIs poem The Art of Drowning is a masterpiece of poignancy, philosophy and even subtle humor.

Daughter needed this book for high school project. Great price. She was able to complete her studies. I was happy to find it as the local book stores didn't have it in stock.

Best Discovery I Have Made This Year
This was the first Billy Collins collection I bought and though I have bought a few more since, as well as his collected poems, this one remains my favourite. I have bought copies for friends and family as I daren't lend this one out. I might not get it back. He deserves to be much better known and loved in the UK. His poetry is accessible; about everyday things and everyday thoughts that go through his mind, often funny (in a subtle way) yet at the same time quite profound. If you haven't read his work, please give this book a try.

Non-rhyming poetry beautifully rhythmic.
This man's poetry is really amazing. I always wondered what people got out of reading poetry. Now I know.
