Excellent For Removing Waterproof Mascara With Ease
I use one of these 1.75 inch pads every night for removing stubborn waterproof mascara. I place the pad over my eye and lightly press against the lash line for 2-3 seconds before wiping across 3-4 times. It easily dissolves and absorbs all the mascara. I do the same to the other eye, using the same pad. It is a little bit oily, but I have yet to find a product that removes waterproof mascara as effectively as these pads do, they are fantastic, working better than any other removers I've tried. I use the Almay pads in conjunction with Ponds makeup remover cloths to remove foundation makeup and any residue from the pads. I've tried so many other removers and cleansers, and this is method I find most effective for me. As an extra tip... ever accidentally touch skin around your eye with the mascara brush and it won't come off? I dip the tip of a Qtip into the jar and it removes the "accidental mascara."

Awesome make-up remover!
When I first received the product, I thought it was a joke. I say that because I received this tiny little bottle, and I was expecting something larger. I didn't expect a little circular pad to remove all my eye make-up! It's gentle on the skin (not like other harsh removers and has a pleasant smell). I have struggled to find a good remover for my waterproof make-up, and I've tried several different brands. This conveniently packaged product packs a big punch for the size, and it lasts a long time! I bought it back in January and am just now purchasing another one. The name of the product was just extra icing on the cake ;). Highly recommend!

Great Product, oily but works
It's oily, but it can remove the most stubborn waterproof eyeliner and mascaras. I tried oil-free pads, but they could not wholly remove the waterproof makeup.I tried many other brands to remove my makeup, and Almay Longwear & Waterproof Makeup remover is the best so far. Not only I use it for removing my waterproof eyeliner and mascaras, but I also use it to remove the makeup on my face.Love it! Easy to use and convenient. Better than have to use a cotton pad and bottle of remover together.

Yes they’re oily but they work
This is sold by the Almay company so they are legit and not some “dupe” item. They ARE oily- you only need one. After that a good wash with clarifying face soap.As someone who can’t use regular eye makeup wipes Or micellar water cause they’re too drying and make me break out, I much prefer oils, even if they are a bit frustrating. I was using other oils like vitamin E prior to getting these.I’d say they’re good for a full eye makeup look & I normally just wear mascara and MAYBE liner during the week so these will last me a long while. If you don’t like oils for makeup removal I would suggest another product.

What a crock
I ran out of the original Almay makeup remover pads (non-waterproof ones with a pink label) so I figured I try these waterproof ones (with a blue label). The ones with the pink label were great even with a bit of oil, so when I read the bad reviews of these in the blue label ones, I assumed the users were irrational in their complaints of the oil. The oil in the pink ones just washed away when you cleaned your face in your nightly routine. "These can't be that different," I foolishly thought to myself.First off, these pads are ROUGH! They hurt my eyelids (and I don't have sensitive eyes). And secondly, there is more oil in one of these pads than there is on a fat guy on a crowded bus with no air conditioning in the middle of July. But this oil doesn't wash off! I even get in the shower and hold my face under the water while trying to rub off the oil, but it won't come off! After using these pads, you have to dab your eye sockets and surrounding areas (because it goes everywhere, regardless of how careful you are) with a dry towel/toilet paper before showering, and then use a mild soap on your entire face to make sure the oil is off. This product is HORRIBLE.Stick with the original pink label pads. If you need the waterproof makeup remover, use Garnier's Miceller Cleansing Water (https://smile.amazon.com/Garnier-SkinActive-Micellar-Cleansing-Waterproof/dp/B017PCGAXQ/ref=pd_vtp_194_7?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B017PCGAXQ&pd_rd_r=3fb4d29b-8177-452c-8924-bad7637c34f9&pd_rd_w=Q5k9g&pd_rd_wg=GP5a2&pf_rd_p=9f0d957d-c466-420a-817f-4adcb2657c85&pf_rd_r=HMN252V911XBTGPCKH3N&psc=1&refRID=HMN252V911XBTGPCKH3N)

Oily
I usually buy the pink Almay version of this but wondered what was different so I bought the blue and the pads are rougher and leave an oily film on my eyes. It's not the worst, it does remove eye makeup but the pink bottle has softer pads and doesn't leave a residue

Gentle and very effective - no scrubbing necessary!!
I've always really loved this product, which I've been using exclusively for about least 10 years. I've always chosen Almay for eye makeup remover, but this particular one is my preferred. It's comfortable to use - I wear a lot of eye makeup (shadow, 2 eyeliners, mascara) and I line my brows, but I can use one pad for both eyes and brows. Then, to remove the oil, I just wipe my face with a hot wash cloth. I like that it's moisturizing, not harsh, doesn't sting even remotely, is unscented, very effective, and I just imagine that its's helping to prevent wrinkles ;)

Is this new container still the same product?
These are the best makeup removers I've ever used. No break outs, no clogged pores, just safe, gentle cleaning of all makeup. It appears there's a new container but am hoping for the same, reliable product inside. I've been using them for years - recommend them wholeheartedly.
