Eberlestock Nosegunner Binocular Case, Hide Open Western Slope A2CPHP

I got tired of rigging up my bino's when wearing a pack so I got this and the pack kit together. By itself the Nosegunner is a comfortable system that works fairly well. It is much bulkier than I expected but it was necessary for the older bino's I had. I can fit my fullsize S&W M&P Pro Long slide with Inforce light in the carry pouch comfortably. That is a great benefit when wearing a pack ask well. With the pack kit the Nosegunner carrys easily and securely on my J34 pack. My only complaint is that the lid seems a bit loose and ill fitting. I've had it pop open and spill my bino's a couple times. I think the magnet latch is a good idea but fit needs to be a touch better. I have since upgraded to new bino's so I have purchased an smaller Eberlestock bino pouch. I will be keeping the Nosegunner to loan to my family or as an additional pouch.

I waited until hunting season was over to review this so I would give it a chance. They sit far too low, at the top of my stomach, not at my chest, and are not easy or convenient to access. This makes them uncomfortable as well and was with the straps tightened as far as they would go. While the magnetic close is nice it is very loud and makes a big sound every time they are closed.I gave the nosegunner two stars for some of the positives I noticed though. They are well built and protected my binoculars well. I will be going back to my previous carrier for next season.

Well made as far as construction goes. My Glock fell out 1 time the first time I used it. I did back track and find it the pistol. Shoulder straps not very substantial which surprised me. Lid to the binocular storage did not stay closed. Also you have to remove the pistol to closed the lid. I will modify myself by sewing on a strap from the lid over the pistol to the back of the case. I like the until just feel the stap is something to add by Eberlstock. My rating is 1 star removed for each issue.

I really wanted to like this product as I have several other Eberlestock items that I’m really happy with. As others have said, the pack just didn’t fit me right and sat a bit low. My biggest complaint was the pack is the lid does not positively snap closed. The pack is well constructed otherwise though. This pack just left me wanting more.

Too bulky and way too hot....will reevaluate this fall....but this time of the year....NO WAY. It is good quality so they have that going for them.

They work great! They cause way less fatigue than two other brands of chest straps that I have. For heavier binoculars they are my first choice for a bino system that I grab.
