I am very particular when it comes to my lawn. I have seeked out some KBG at my local big boxed stores only to come up empty handed. A lot of them had weeds and or other types of grasses I wasn’t looking to put in my lawn. The quality is far superior than what I have previously got from home stores. The value for what I got was a little more than I expected to spend, but the results are quite phenomenal. The seeds are very tiny , so you’ll need to be very careful how you’re spreading it. The seed does take quite awhile to germinate, around 3-4 weeks, but to me, it’s worth it. The grass has been coming up in abundance. It is growing exactly where I planted it. Very dark green bluish color. I was hesitant because I was getting such a small amount of seed for the price, but that’s how Kentucky Bluegrass is. I would highly recommend this product. Very good seed without weeds! Just keep in mind that it will grow slow. Be patient. It is worth it. I would and have bought more from this supplier and the same seed, because I like consistency in planting great grass. Don’t hesitate just get it. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely the most beautiful blue grass. Lush carpet like grass thick and sturdy. Germinates in about 7 days in Virginia.

This seed was an absolute lifesaver—and yard-saver! I originally got it to patch up the 'doggy disaster zones' where my furry monsters had turned my grass into their personal demolition derby. It worked perfectly for that, filling in the bare spots like magic. But then I got grass happy (you know the feeling) and started sprinkling it everywhere like I was Oprah handing out cars: 'You get grass! You get grass!' Now my backyard looks like something out of a landscaping magazine—lush, green, and thriving, despite the tiny terrors still doing their best to sabotage it. I planted it last night. The weight/size is exactly as described. I'll update after it germinates. The consumer label with breakdown is exactly what I was shopping for with no weed seed or fillers.

Boy do I want my money back. Less than 1% germination rate. Applied and watered as instructed and it looks horrible. NOT HAPPY

Just received and bag is well constructed and it is all of the weight expected. Germination in about 21 days is expected so will update review at that time. The seed is “just seed”, no coatings or anything, exactly as advertised.

Been using it to replace spots in lawn where I pulled weeds. It is just what I expected. Beautiful grass. Love it! Used trays to make my own sod for larger spots. So I can see it is all beautiful grass when it grows.
