The Audeze Mobius headset is without a doubt the best headset I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. As an avid musician and music listener, gamer, and, most recently due to the current pandemic, remote educator, I was looking for a headset that would cover all of my needs. These headphones delivered on everything I hoped they would.I game on PS4 and up until now have only ever used Sony’s Playstation Gold headset which was very reliable until one of the hinges recently broke. Initially, I replaced that headset with the newer Gold model, which as it turns out are much less comfortable than their previous design. In comes the Audeze Mobius… I had no idea what I had been missing using the Sony headset. The sound of the Mobius headset is so much crisper. They’re comfortable and extremely well-built.I primarily play first person shooters (FPS) like Destiny 2 and Apex Legends. I expect that the 3D audio of the Mobius headset is a major advantage in these types of games. My initial impressions have been extremely positive. Additionally, my friends have commented on how much better my voice sounds in party chat. Apparently, the boom mic provided with the headset is quite good! The one thing I wish Audeze could address in future iterations of the Mobius headset would be for it to be Bluetooth compatible with the PS4. Being totally wireless would be nice; however, that being said, the connection to the console via usb works well and keeps the headset charged at all times so that’s cool.After gaming with my new headset for a bit, I laid back on the couch and listened to some tunes. First, I threw on some hip hop and was immediately impressed by how detailed and clear the sound was. It had a real nice low end but wasn’t overly bassy! Then, I listened to some indie rock music I’ve written and recorded over the years. It had honestly never sounded better, even through high-end studio monitors.I’m looking forward to using this headset for many years to come and have already recommended it to my friends. For a console gamer, the price is a bit steep but considering how versatile the headset is, I see myself getting a ton of use out of it in every facet of my daily life: gaming, teaching, recording, listening, etc.

I bought this a little over 4 months ago and unfortunately they've already started to fall apart. The plastic on the adjustable headband has completely broken on the left ear, and the right ear a portion of it has snapped requiring me to keep it in place with tape.Audio quality is great and i likely can never go back from this style of audio; though even the general use has some issues.Microphone quality is generally poor, but i didn't really buy these for that so i'm fine with this.The audio quality is great for wired, though wireless is going to be worse due to limitations of bluetooth. The downside is this has a battery that can cause some woes with use.Firstly if you turn off your computer and don't turn off the headphones they don't seem to have a sleep mod and regularly i found they would just simply drain their battery overnight.The dials on the side of the left ear also function as buttons; one of which has a somewhat baffling feature of turning off the headphone's ability to charge, worst of all it seems this is a one-way change that will not reset until the headphones have been turned off/back on.The 3D audio feature is pointless, as it simply adjusts audio as if you were turning your head away from it. It defaults to "Auto" and i found myself needing to re-disable this constantly because auto simply just means on, and it would regularly turn itself back on if the headphones turn off. The issue is this just sounds bad and means if you're someone like me with multiple monitors you just end up getting worse audio for turning your head to look at something.The audio defaults to surround, which in itself is a bit annoying as many applications don't handle this well, some voice applications tend to simply give you bad high reverb audio; while others will correctly report stereo-only and give you correct audio. This is mostly a problem because this is the default and applications tend to not default support this and thus I found myself needing to also re-toggle this setting anytime the headphones needed to be turned back on.All of these are mild annoyances that feel so much worse when having to deal with the plastic of the headphones breaking so quickly. I'm not even particularly rough with these, this simply was basic wear-and-tear of opening them up slightly to put on/off my ears.Edit: Putting this down to a 1-star review. This headset hasn't made it 6 months and one of the ears has completely fallen off, the plastic simply keeps breaking, as a continue to tape/glue/repair each seciton another simply fails instead. The cost simply cannot justify how poor of quality this plastic is.

I bought this headset on a whim last year, and the price tag on it hurt, however I ended up not regretting the decision one bit. The sound quality has been absolutely phenomenal to the point where I can't really consider any other headphones and the mic quality is superb for chatting on Discord or in games. The only downside to this headset, and one that I have been dealing with for over a year, is the flimsy plastic of the headband. There's a small section near the actual headphones that's very thin and over time(not much time at all, I hadn't even owned these for a year when it first occurred.) it will crack and break, leaving headphones to dangle by the inner cables. I fixed the first break with super glue and it's held up pretty well in the months since, but now the opposite side has cracked and nearly broken with a small bit of plastic barely holding it together, but it won't stay on my head now that its loose as a result. And that's on top of the USB port apparently also starting to break as it constantly disconnects and produces a static sound if the cable is close to losing that connection, but hasn't actually disconnected yet, and the cable is still firmly connected. Depends on what direction the cable is being pulled.

Yo vengo de unos Logitech g935 y no me hubiera imaginado nunca en la vida la diferencia de audio y de calidad es verdad que son auriculares muy caros pero si quieres lo mejor para gaming por un precio no exagerado y si eres muy exigente son tus auriculares yo compré una funda rígida ya que venía con una funda de tela quedan perfectos.

Auf der Suche nach einem neuen Headset (primär für Gaming aber auch zum Filme schauen und Musik hören) habe ich das Audeze Mobius gefunden. Eigentlich deutlich über dem was ich ausgeben wollte aber ich habe mich dann doch für einen Kauf entschieden, weil es sehr viel versprochen hat.Aber ich möchte nicht lange um den heißen Brei reden:Das Headset von Audeze ist für mich leider völlig unbrauchbar. Es ist ein sehr lautes Hintergrundgeräusch zu hören (white noise, hissing). Immer. Und wenn man lauter dreht wird das Geräusch ebenfalls lauter (egal auf welchem Kanal, also Bluetooth, AUX oder USB). Auch wenn nichts angeschlossen ist, ist das Geräusch ständig da, sofern es eingeschalten ist. Ich habe alle Settings, welche in der App einstellbar sind ausprobiert. In jeder erdenklichen Kombination. Ohne Erfolg.Da ich mein Headset eigentlich immer aufhabe wenn ich vor dem PC sitze, egal ob Musik oder YouTube oder sonstiges läuft, ist das einfach unerträglich. Es ist so laut, dass auch wenn Ton abgespielt wird, es immer noch hörbar ist. Also natürlich dann nicht mehr so laut und man muss sich darauf konzentrieren, aber es ist hörbar und störend, wenn man weiß, dass es da ist.Wirklich eine sehr große Enttäuschung (egal welche Preisklasse, auch wenn das Headset 10€ gekostet hätte, hätte ich es zurück geschickt).Internet Foren beschreiben hier, dass man beim Modell Penrose wohl die Möglichkeit hat hier etwas in der App zu ändern, wenn man aber das Mobius gekauft hat, gibt es keine Lösung!Es bleibt noch zu sagen, dass dieses Geräusch (ebenfalls laut Foren) nicht jeder hört, ob dass an der individuellen Hörleistung oder an fehlerhaften Geräten liegt kann ich natürlich nicht beurteilen. Ich werde mir nach dieser Enttäuschung allerdings nicht noch ein Gerät schicken lassen in der Hoffnung das ich ein "Sonntags Gerät" erwischt habe.Schade, und ich wünsche jedem, der dieses Geräusch nicht hört viel vergnügen mit einem ansonsten tollen Headset.

hyper X cloudorbitの兄弟機、こちらはBluetoothが使えること以外基本的には向こうと同じはずですまた国内未発売ですが機能を削減し安価で無線能力を強化した後継機が発売されていますこのヘッドセットは音を出せば気にはなりませんがホワイトノイズが若干大きいですバッテリーは連続10時間で充電には3時間かかります、ややスタミナ不足ですがUSBにて充電しながらの利用は可能ですボタンと機能が多いためなれるまでは混乱するかもしれません側圧はやや強いもののクッション性がよく長時間付けていても痛みませんデメリットばかり強調してしまいましたが総合的には良いヘッドセットだと思います音質が良く個々の音が分離し特に高音はきらびやかに聞こえます、また定位がとても良いため足音等の音が何処で鳴っているのかはっきりと分かりますゲーミングヘッドセットにありがちな音の歪んだ感じもしませんので映画や音楽も楽しめるでしょう最大の特徴の3Dオーディオヘッドトラッキングを使えばスピーカーが配置された部屋の中にいるように感じられます、流石に真後ろからの音はわかり辛いですが…またDACを内蔵しているためUSB等でPCと繋ぐだけで煩わしい接続をしなくて良いので手軽ですデメリットを許容できればゲームを楽しむためとして本機は最適だと思いました
