Thick Cut Cumberland Marmalade

Bought the orange marmalade with gin. Excellent strong flavour. Well recommended.

1. Thick Cut CUMBERLAND Marmalade: I am very pleased with this marmalade. The flavour is good, not too sweet, and there is a sharp tangy aspect. For my taste I would like more peel, but this is a personal thing. There is more peel in this marmalade than in many others that I have tried, but not as much as used to be in coarse marmalade when I was a kid in 60s and 70s. I will definitely buy this one again. 2. Thick Cut Orange Marmalade: Although the flavour of this one is very nice, not overly sweet, there seems to be hardly any peel and what is there is definitely not what I would classify as THICK cut. However, I will order one more just to check if I was simply unlucky. It is frustrating that Amazon do not allow to leave separate reviews for the different products on this page. I have bought all of the products on this page, but can only leave one rating and one review.

This product, though pleasant, doesn't deliver on the bitter/bracing promise. The peel isn't anywhere thick cut, and the product is too runny for marmalade. Also rather expensive for such a small jar. Tried, but won't buy again.

Surprisingly it had bits of orange peel! Tasted nice. Just like marmalade.

This has to be one of the most satisfyingly flavourful marmalades - indeed any spread - that I've ever tasted. The two flavours, pink grapefruit and ginger are equally matched, with neither overpowering the other and both very distinctive rather than watery and faint as in certain other brand marmalades. I'm going to buy in half-dozen jar batches from now on because I like it so much that I don't want to be caught out if there's a shortage. It's that good.

Just what I've been looking for in a marmalade. Strong tangy satisfying taste. 5 star product, thank you ever so much.

Mmmm. Feeling good - this is lovely. Warm ginger, and the grapefruit adds a slightly tart background. Great. My problem is the high cost for such a small jar, but have to look upon it as an occasional exotic treat. Have to hide it in the cupboard so that the rest of the family use the 50p stuff from the supermarket!

This Marmalade claims to be "Thick Cut Marmalade". Not only does it not have a very nice flavour, but I have yet to find any orange rind at all ! Using a spoon I searched the whole jar and it is nothing but very bland sort of vaguely orange flavoured jelly. Would definitely not buy again.
