Excellent 12V Water pump for Price!!
This pump is a champ! Easy swap out for my old jabsco unit, basic wiring and literally plug and play water connections. The on demand system is easy and excellent for a small boat (30' sailboat). provides great flow for two sinks onboard and no hiccups, would happily recommend to anyone and gladly buy again. Price is a great deal!

Junk
This is for the Jabsco 31295 31395 series Parmax water pressure system 2.9 GPM. Don't buy. They are junk. I have purchased two of the these the last two years and each time they only lasted a year if that. The last one I bought was Feb 19, 2024 and stopped working memorial day weekend. I'm glad I purchased the Asurion warranty on my last purchase but they only reimbursed me a $125 dollars but I paid a $145 for the pump. I thought Asurion cover the purchase? Not happy!

Durable, well made.
I bought this years ago - never wrote a review. It was as described, maintained good flow rate, build quality was excellent. Would buy again.

Good bang for buck
Pump on my seabring died and I was forced to purchase a replacement. Some pumps on Amazon cost well over $100 but this one is half the price and just as good.It is quiet, pumps water very well and so far works without any hickups .Came quick and we'll packaged

Good pump, but not sealed!
The Jabsco pumps are generally well constructed, but are *not* fully sealed and should never be submerged. In general, the drier you can keep it, the longer it will last. The pump head is well sealed from the motor, but the plastic cylinder around the motor body is not sealed in any way. Moisture can enter at the seam between the motor body and pump head. There is not a gasket, o-ring, or sealant of any kind at this joint. I strongly recommend putting a bead of sealant or silicone tape around this joint. The other major entry point for water is where the wires enter the pump case. There is at least a rubber grommet there, but a bead of caulk or other sealant there is added insurance. The pump body has softer rubber mounting feet for quiet operation. The case and housings are plastic, assembled with stainless hardware. The pump head itself is all plastic construction. The motor shaft is stainless, but the motor case is steel, and will corrode under the plastic housing. When my 9 year old Jabsco pump began working intermittently I replaced it with an identical one, and took apart the old one to find the steel motor case had obviously gotten water around it and rusted heavily. Everything else looked great.
