Universal Skid Steer Quick Tach Conversion Adapter Mount Plate Bobtach Attach Adapter

Very well, so glad I bought it . Bought the JDQA (John Deere Quick Attach) from Amazon, took both to a welding shop and now I can use the skid steer quick attach implements available everywhere. Also the guy at the welding shop was impressed and said it was a good value with the price of steel way up.

This adapter Converted my Kioti DK 65 to fit bobcat attachments. Very Heavy 2 person lift. For a "universal" adapter I expected the plates would need to be modified. For my tractor and other small to midsize tractors you will likely need to cut off the bottom of the weld on plate. What I should not have had to do was modify the adapter to work on the bobcat attachments. I had to notch the bracket that holds the spring assembly to allow it to open and also had to shave the oversized round pins flat on one side that lock the adapter to the bottom of the bobcat. Having said that it still is a great value overall.

Must take apart because the pins were installed backwards. Also had to grind a bit to let handles retract fully. Welds were ok but back plate where mounts weld too was warped about 1/4 inch was able to press my mounts on hard enough to not have to weld a gap though.Cheapest option for an adapter though. Would buy again.

I ordered this to make a mustang single pin to quick attach adapter. I already had a mustang plate so all I had to do was weld this quick attach to my plate. With this unit you will have to weld and most likely cut off some of the plate they have on there for you to weld to as it is very large so a plasma cutter or torch will be needed. I had to remove 2 inches from the bottom and one from the outside edge. As long as you know how to weld and have basic fabricating skills this is easily fabed up in 3 hours. I found a weld or two that didnt look the best but seem fine. For the price I couldnt even buy the metal to make this not to mention the time I would have spent. I could have bought one already done for $1200 so $300 for the unit 3hrs some welding wire and gas it was a great buy.

The levers to engage the pins on the bottom do not work without extensive modifications and even then they don’t work very well. The slide bearings holding the pins on the bottom are not welded in the correct spot so you cannot engage I had to grind about 1/2” of the pin off to get it to seat. Very poor craftsmanship

Locking handles are built wrong. Won’t stay up by them selves to allow hooking up to attachments. Have to alter unit to work.

This adapter works exactly as intended. Converted my old Ford 1710 from pin to universal quick attach. Wish it weren't so bulky, but it is well made.

This is a nice plate for the value! The welds aren’t machine perfect but it’s welds I can trust. Paint is nice too!
