Elastic is reasonable in not creating that awful muffin top <3
These are so comfy and cute. They fit great, and I have a really bad problem with waistbands for "my size" creating a huge muffin top, but that wasn't the case here. For reference, I'm a size large. I am 5'8, 150lbs, and with a decent amount of muscle. My waist is around 30 inches and my hips are around 37 inches. Pics for helping anyone that needs it :)

No ride up
These fit as expected. I wear between a size 8-10 and got an M. I use these for running (treadmill and outside) and they do not ride up at all. I normally run for a minimum of 3 miles, so it is an acceptable benchmark for those who run. I normally am prepared by using the stick glider to avoid rashes or discomfort between my thighs if it rides up. However, I have not had to use those whenever i have these shorts on. They are very comfortable to wear. I am getting more colors!

Fits as expected
5'2, 170 lbs for reference with strong athletic build. These shorts are perfect for very muscular thighs without being tight. The material underneath the short does not ride up and is really soft on the skin. I sweat a lot when I train and always have the problem of looking like I peed myself. The material feels breathable and doesn't show crotchsweat with is an A+ in my book. I'm a fan of the material and feel they are appropriately priced. I would love to purchase more in different colors.

Not what I thought it would be like.
Don’t get me wrong, these are super comfy to wear. What I don’t like about them is how they ride up when you run I thought the compression shorts underneath would stay out. When I went for a run the first time in these shorts they were up the whole time. Higher than the shorts, like up to my butt. I wear a medium. So I constantly was tugging them down for two miles. I will keep this pair mainly because I don’t want to go through the hassle of returning them and they get the job done for running shorts, but I do not think I will order another pair because it’s $20 and the quality is not as great as let’s say Nike. And my under armor shorts for $20 are nicer looking and better quality.Update review. A year later I didn’t wear these shorts and gave them away. These are terrible for running. It’s cheap Chinese shorts.

love handle area
Ordered a size medium. For reference: hips 40, love handle area: 35, waist 31. These fit well and didn’t cut into the lovehandles. Bit of a loose basketball-shorts style. The inner shorts were comfortable.

Its average. Comfortable, weird fit but good enough for workouts and etc.
Im 5ft 8 and 160 lbs. I ordered a large. Im not sure how well this review will help but....When I took it out of the bag, it felt like it was going to be too big. When I tried it on, it fit pretty well. If it werent for the tie on shorts and you couldnt tighten it to your size, it probably would of been to big. The attached undershorts fit just right (around my legs and butt...but once again...if it werent for the tie, it would of been a little loose around my hips). The outside fabric is a little loose and quite flowy....but comfortable still overall.

Comfy
The positives: these shorts are comfortable, the waistband lays flat, the under layer shorts stay down without pulling, nice inbetween length- neither too short nor long. The negatives: the crotch hangs a little low. It looks okay from the front, but makes your behind look a flat and droopy. This is the main reason I will not order a second pair. Also, the drawstring pulled out with the first washing, and I have not been able to get it to go back in.
