Such a good supplement to add! I was struggling with stress management, fatigue, and anxiety so I did some research and found that taking Rhodiola extra can help with that. I started taking them back in August and within a week I felt a difference. My anxiety went down and I don't get stressed as easily. I added these and magnesium to my daily routine and found myself feeling SO much better. I havent taken them for a month and I felt myself going backwards and began taking it again. It has really helped my mental state and overall mood.

I decided to look into this supplement after reading about it in numerous magazines. I was a little concerned reading the Amazon reviews because I have pretty severe insomnia and am sensitive to any kind of stimulants, but I decided to give it a shot. I've been taking it for close to two weeks now and so far, I'm pretty happy with it. It DOES give you an energy boost, but its VERY subtle. I tend to feel every little heart palpitation, etc, but I didn't notice anything like that...just an overall boost in energy. (and I was kind of looking for a weird sensation or feeling) For me, caffeine or herbal stimulants "feel" like an artificial boost....the Rhodiola does not. Its just that I feel more energetic, but still operating at a normal level. The first couple of days, I took it around 10:00am-11:00am and I noticed that I didn't sleep well those nights. (Again....I have insomnia anyway, so I can't say it was caused by the Rhodiola.) After that, I decided to only take it before 10:00am. For the average caffeine drinker, I can't imagine that this would cause any serious sleep disturbances. Honestly, I'm kind of surprised that I like this as much as I do because of my weird sensitivities. Since taking it, I have found that I am getting more done and am better able to focus on what I'm working on. It seems to "center" me during the day and I don't get as distracted doing mundane tasks. I'm going to continue taking it as long as I feel these benefits. Note: The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I don't know if the supplement added to my insomnia or not. Its hard to know for sure.

Quick delivery! I don't know if it's mind over matter but I really like how I feel using this product. However, I have had a little trouble with winding down at night. But I feel as cool as a cucumber. High stress jobs - - 2 of them. Working 7 days and 60+ hours a week. I have renewed energy and a lot of things don't really bother me. Calmness and clarity. More effective than any Rx I've ever had for anxiety/stress.

I almost gave this one star, but I like this brand so gave it three. The low rating is a reflection of the product itself and not the brand. I read many reviews on and off Amazon about this supplement and it’s positive effect it can have on depression symptoms, particularly with the challenge of having no drive or interest or energy to do things you would otherwise do. I read of many people experiencing significant improvements in this area after using this supplement. It did nothing for me. Nothing at all. I even tried it for two months, just in case more time was needed, and nothing. I wish it had helped me, but it didn’t. I didn’t notice any change in depression symptoms at all. Maybe it’s not one size fits all. It could work for others, but not for all. The good thing is that for the money, you can give it a try. Just don’t set high expectations in case it doesn’t work for you either.

It is an effective product.
