We are do-it-yourselfers. When we did a bathroom rehab, we had a shower-head/handle/faucet that was brushed nickel but the tub overflow plate and strainer were chrome. I ordered this Satin Nickel Trip Lever Tub Waste/Overflow Trim Kit and I crossed my fingers for a good match/coordination. I am very happy with this kit because it was a fine match and all tub fixtures look great together and quality is good not flimsy. In the picture when I bought the kit, the lever looked round on line but when I got it, it was squared a bit and that made me even happier since the other fixtures were squared too, an unexpected plus! [the picture at the side as I write this review shows the squared one but when I order it the picture it looked rounder----I'm sure this does not matter to most people but it did to me and I am very happy with it] My husband had to tinker with the trip lever a bit to get a perfect fit but in the end it looks wonderful. With all that said, I do think the price was too high for what it is. I have no regrets though since it solved our problem quickly and efficiently. Very happy customer.

Bought to replace the old ones that had deteriorated beyond cleaning in our hall bath. Installation was smooth, just be aware that you may need to make alterations with your bathtub drain stopper to get it to attach here (I had to do some sanding and filing to make it fit). Only time will tell how long the surfaces still look good after cleaning but for now looking good!

I needed to replace two different drain kits in 2 tubs. I wasn't sure if I could do it without help. I'm a very handy DIY 60 year old woman. This was so easy. I did it in less than 10 minutes and it's beautiful. Amazing what a $20 part and 10 minutes or less can so to spruce up and old bathtub

Finish was nice and quality seems good, but:1 - My old drain was flat and the one that came with this kit is slightly raised. As a result the screw that came with the kit was too short and I had to reuse the old screw.2 - Kit does not come with a pin to attach the trip lever to the drain mechanism. I reused my old one. Seems stupid to not include this as its a cheap part.

This is a great product. I did replace the cutter pin from old unit to connect to new unit. As others stated. The hardest part is removal of old unit.
