This worked perfectly. I’d tried a different product but it had the wrong connector to the TV. This is great because it’s all right there for you. Except for the power plug to go with the power cable but I’ve got plenty of those. No big deal. Hooked up a VCR/DVD player to a newer TV and this was a great solution. Shipped fast and we hooked it up the minute it arrived. It took about 5 min, so easy to do. Give it 5 stars except the review won’t allow me to click all 5 stars.

The product does as is advertised, but it must be noted that is all it does. Let me begin by saying I purchased this product to connect 3 old consoles to a 2022 4K Roku Smart TV. The consoles were an original Xbox, early model PS2 and a Nintendo Gamecube. For this review I have not tested the Gamecube yet. This converter itself works flawlessly with the Xbox and PS2; no issues with functionality. However, picture quality is in question. I must be clear: this device DOES NOT upscale anything. It simply takes the RCA outputs from a device and runs it through an HDMI connector. Nothing more. The default signal quality the device outputs, is the signal quality that will output on the display of your choice. The picture quality on the PS2 is blurred. The picture quality on the Xbox is less blurred. I found it was better to set the switch on the converter to 720p, rather than 1080p, because that actually improved my image quality on both consoles to a minimum degree. To further test, I found an old 1080p flatscreen (pre-2010 model) in my parents garage and hooked my PS2 up to it through the AV ports and found the image quality to not be too far off from what my 4K TV was displaying. Therefore, I must assume this is not the converters fault, but the fault of the low resolutions these old consoles output. The image quality is probably the best I'm going to get. One thing I should note is that my 4K TV upscales low resolution outputs up to 4K, which may make image quality better or worse. I experimented with my TV's settings and found a middle ground between crap and average quality, but good enough to play my old games without developing a migraine from eye strain. I think the item is a bargain for the price. You could easily hook up multiple devices with this converter. I found other converters on Amazon that did the same thing, some even had connectors for specific game systems, but they either had sketchy reviews or were ridiculously overpriced. And considering what I mentioned about a device's default signal output, I doubt they could really do much better than this one. Whether you're running a device's output through RCA cables and into an HDMI converter, or a device's output straight into an HDMI converter, the result would be the same. It simply depends on what display and device you plan to hook this converter up to. Lower resolutions screens like 1080p or 720p would most likely fair better than what I used. So yes, I do recommend this device. It does the job and nothing more. Just don't expect it to magically make your lower resolution devices crystal clear and super sharp. The result is dependent on the display you choose. Word of advice: when you are done using this converter for the day, be sure to disconnect it from the power source. It continues to run and heat up even after all devices connected to it are off.

I am absolutely thrilled with this RCA to HDMI converter.. Like many retro gamers, I struggled to find a reliable way to hook up my old consoles to my new TV without losing picture quality or dealing with complicated setups. Connecting my PlayStation 1 (PS1) was incredibly easy, it was truly plug-and-play. The converter worked perfectly right out of the box, translating the analog RCA signal into a crisp digital HDMI output. The picture is clean, and I had zero issues with lag or signal dropout. Not bad a bad product for the price. The setup is very easy to do. It does need a USB charger to power it, but if your TV has a USB port you can use that as the power supply and have 1 less cord to worry about The picture and sound quality are good. I am able to replay my PS2 games again on my modern TV. I would definitely recommend this product. Sound quality: Good sound Ease of use: Very easy to set up Cable length: Plenty of length. Use the USB port on the TV if you have it to save an extra cord to worry about Works well: Works well over all no issues. Price, figured it was a 15 dollar gamble and it works just fine.

One of our traditions every year at Christmas is to play old Wii games with our grown children on Christmas eve for prizes. It gets very competitive and is a lot of fun. This year, we were able to do that on the large flat screen in our theater room thanks to this device. It worked great right out of the box. It was really great

Bought this for my PS One and it has been working great so far. Simple to use and pretty straight forward. I had an extra long charging cord laying around and works perfectly with this.

Somehow the slot to put in the power cable has broken and the usb part has come loose. You can hear it rattling inside the box.
