Our family is Dutch Indonesian, Soto is a staple food in our household. We Formally purchased these packs in person, but since moving, have not been able to locate them, so I have turned Amazon. They come exactly as described. We love the ingredients as they are mostly whole food ingredients. This makes for a quick dinner, and everybody enjoys the flavor.

Whenever I am too busy to cook, the spice product from this brand is a good alternative to use. Soto spice is one of my family's favorites. I was surprised to see the price. It is considered very competitive. I usually purchased it from a specialty grocery store. This one is really a good deal.

I have made Soto Ayam from scratch before, and have trouble locating some of the ingredients in a small rural town. I followed my usual recipe, but substituted this packet of spice and had the chicken cooked, the broth steaming and all the side dishes ready in a shorter time than usual. It's a tasty reminder of great food from Malaysia and Indonesia.

I purchased this in Jan 2025 and was sent a pack of 6 with expiry in sep 2024. And it was not returnable!!!
