Buffalo Bills 16oz Cajun Western Cut Jar Jerky (32 thin-sliced spicy beef jerky strips per jar)

The quality here is inconsistent from piece to piece, because the crushed pepper is loosely on top and so it crumbles off everywhere when getting one from the bin. This means I was rarely met with the spicy flavor I paid for and so most pieces were just passable to good (it should be noted I still ate it all over a few days). The good pieces were great though: A real heat that can make you sweat a little. Well at least I can flavor my other food with all that crushed pepper at the bottom...

Theres many brands of beef jerky out there, many are expensive at that such as jacks links. But nothing compares to this brand, I used to buy their jerky as a child in san diego. And since I've moved to new york at the age of 13 quality beef jerky has been quite scarce. Now at the age of 21, this beef jerky brings back many good memories. Its fantastic, very flavorful, and filling. Its a must for all jerky fans.

If you like very thin jerky that is tough to chew and makes you work for it, then this is for you. It's hard to even bite off a piece to chew. They are good, Nice flavor and spices - but definitely not my type of jerky.

This jerky tastes great, but the real benefit is the fact that each strip is a half ounce. You can portion your snack size very easily with this if you are trying to watch calories (while increasing protein intake). The container is very nice and I will be using it for future jerky purchases that do not come in a nice container.

OK so I REALLY wanted to keep buying from Buffalo Bill's line of jerky products. I've been buying from them since 2008 when I was stationed in Iraq. I love the flavor of the sticks and the Cajun strips are on point. Within the last couple of years though, these products keep arriving either turned or with mold!!! This is the 4th (and final) time I've gotten a jerky product that is inedible. I don't know what has changed with this company, but whatever it is it's ruined a great product.

This jerky is so hot its not edible. I've read other reviews stating each batch is different, But damn! This batch ended up being spicier then there double habanero variant. It taste like they used ghost peppers rather then red peppers. Stay clear of this if you don't like anything over 500,000 scoville units.
