SKLZ Power Stick Baseball and Softball Training Bat for Strength

This stick helps our kids before a game to train their eyes and helps with bat speed. If they can hit the small Wiffle balls with this stick going into the game, they will be well prepared. Also, it builds confidence as they understand you hit with the eyes. Many companies try and copy SKLZ tools, and yes, these fake products are less expensive, but the quality is not up to what SKLZ offers. You might save $5 to $15, but it won't last a season and suddenly, that extra money initially saved doesn't make one bit of sense. I trust this company, and they are constantly creating new training tools. I feel good telling my closest family and friends to buy the SKLZ brand; and, I wouldn't waste my time writing a review if I didn't believe in the results this power stick will bring. I wish I had found these products sooner as it made pregame easier, more effective, and even more fun. Kids are naturally nervous before a game. This tool builds their confidence when they need it most (before a game). It furthermore doesn't embarrass the players if and when they miss the ball as it looks hard to whack the small balls with the stick. Players get embarrassed when they miss a ball, and it lowers their confidence. This is the last thing you want to happen before a game. This takes this potential hazard out of pregame as your building up trust with a more challenging activity. This tool, in conjunction with the small balls, allows the player to loosen up and not fear missing the ball as it's meant to be tough to do. Once the player gets a hold of hitting the small balls with the power stick, they are ready mentally and physically to hit in the game. Our players batting averages increased dramatically once we implemented this easy system. The weekend before we had the SKLZ sticks, our team had a combined total of 7 hits in four games. The weekend we brought the SKLZ sticks into our pregame, our team had 37 hits in our first two pool games! We had each player start with the SKLZ stick and SKLZ small balls. Once they hit ten successful small balls with the SKLZ stick, we had them go to the next station, where they used their actual bat and hit real balls into a net. This makes for a pregame routine that will have your player(s) minds, body, and especially eyes tuned into “Game Mode.” We did have a couple of parents bring knockoffs once we added this to our routine. You do need to be careful as these are not weighted or built for helping your player. The knockoffs can do more harm than good as they are not weighted correctly and dent very easily. We didn't let our players use anything but the tried and tested SKLZ brand after noticing the difference between the knockoff and the real SKLZ tools. The knockoff balls will break as they are cheap and frankly annoying as they will fail before a game when you need your player(s) warming up. For the players that used the SKLZ stick, they had no other option than to focus on connecting the power stick to the small SKLZ balls. Again, I wish I knew of these sticks from day one, as they are the easiest way to warm up your hitters. You don't need a lot of space, and their eyes are ready to hit any ball after ten of such successful hits. Once your players are confident they can hit the golf ball size wiffles, they will have confidence when they step into the box and watch the baseball/softball connect to their bat. For those of you who have younger siblings, they too can utilize these at a very young age. If you want your young 3 or 4 years old to start building their hand-eye coordination, they will have no trouble with this lite stick. Reps with this stick will generate success at the plate. Great quality, durable, and size for my boys(6, 13, and 15). We did wrap the bat with lizard skin for better grip/comfort. Buy more balls though, they go far. Haha

My son likes this bat—it’s lightweight and helps him get in a lot of swings without getting tired. It definitely helps with hand speed and coordination. The only drawback is that at 30 inches it feels a bit long for younger players, so he has to choke up on it. Otherwise, solid build and a good tool for training.

My daughter is in softball. She’s played about three times now she’s learning to become great at it. I purchased this bat to help her practice her batting and it made a huge difference. I highly recommended. I also bought a pack of 50 softballs to practice with her and I literally only spent about under $20 for both items. Great purchase great investment definitely helps with my daughter sports and you can also practice golf with these little balls in the backyard. It’s perfect.

Great for hand-eye coordination. Allows players to focus in on something smaller, making a baseball seem easier to track while at the plate. I also bought mini wiffle balls in a few other colors. Toss two or three at a time while calling out a color for the batter to hit. This is a fun challenge and helps with pitch recognition

Well worth the money. Teaches hand eye coordination as well as bat speed with it being slightly weighted.
