Fill-Rite 700ACCF7017 1" Filter Head

Solved my issues of contaminated fuel. Was able to clean up all the fuel inside before it clogged my truck filters again!

I was changing my plumbing on my fuel farm so I changed my filter system plumbing too.. Great filter kit. Hooked up to a fill-rite 15gpm pump system, no appreciable loss of volume. I use this on my low volume diesel fuel but use the other less expensive brand, the one named golden rod - no space, on my unleaded tank - if there is an issue between the two I haven't seen it yet in the 20 years I've been using them, besides I'd rather lose a 5-10k crate motor than a 40+k tractor/farm vehicle motor if the golden one fails. 🤣😀🙂 Hope this helps

Good quality product. The pipe confusion with this product is frustrating. The box and the picture show one 6 inch nipple and a elbow. After having to make a trip to the hardware store for pipe fittings and installing the product I discovered another 2 inch nipple buried under all the packaging material. They should offer three options with this product: no fittings included or a 45 elbow with two short and one long nipple package or a 45 two 90s and three nipple package.

Filter kit is really a good value at this price. The box states made in USA as does the filter can itself. Installation is straight forward. The long section of pipe that is included with this kit was way too long for my application. I didn’t want my filter hanging 10” away from the pump. This creates a lot of leverage and I can see the cast pump being damaged accidentally with that much leverage so I used a short piece of pipe I had laying around to get it mounted closer. If I had to go to the store I would have bought one about twice as long but this was laying around in a bin at the shop so I used it. All in all I am very happy with the fill rite pump and filter set up. I got the pump on amazon warehouse for $125 so I’m at around $160 for pump and filter. Not bad for something that should easily last a lifetime. It’s light years ahead of my old cheap made in China pump that leaked everywhere.

I had no trouble installing mine at all -- of course I didn't do like everyone else that complained about it did with the straight up pipe then the elbow... I came out of the pump with the elbow and used the straight to get clear of the pump etc. As my tank and pump setup is designed to fit around and under my retractable bed cover -- going verticle would have been an issue for me. Even on the directions there is a big asterisk ** on there that says one "possible" configuration.. you don't HAVE to do it that way. Worked great in my situation.

Must have for pumping out gas barrels. I use fluorite . Both pump and filter work great. Highly recommend if u r pumping fuel. Especially if it's been stored a while
