Great buy
This is a great slow cooker. Big enough to cook a Christmas ham with room to spare. I like that the lid latches to prevent spilling. Works great

Huge for meal prep
I purchased the Hamilton Beach Extra Large 10 Quart Slow Cooker, and it has quickly become a kitchen favorite! This slow cooker is perfect for gatherings, as it can easily accommodate large portions, making meal prep for family events or potlucks a breeze. The "Stay or Go" feature with the lid lock is fantastic! It allows for easy transport without worrying about spills, which is a big plus when taking dishes to a friend's house or to a picnic. The built-in clip-on lid keeps everything secure, and it's easy to clean when I get home .Cooking with this slow cooker is simple; it heats evenly, and the temperature settings are quite straightforward. Iāve made everything from stews to casseroles, and the results have been delicious every time. The removable stoneware pot is also dishwasher-safe, making cleanup quick and easy. One minor downside is that the unit can be a bit bulky for smaller kitchens

Great Purchase
I didnāt realize this didnāt have an indicator light on it. š. When I plugged it in and turned it on there was no light. I thought it didnāt work or my electric was out in that socket! š It does work great and high is HOT. Love that it is very large and has different temperatures. Great for big gatherings or making large amounts of homemade sauces, soups, roasts, etc.

Great crockpot
This XL crackpot is perfect for large meal prep. I purchased this for a large gathering that I agreed to make meatballs. This beast held 8 lbs of meatballs with over 100 Oz of sauce with room left. Basic controls High, low, and warm. The lockable lid is solid and makes for easy travel with your finished meal.

Just the right size
I love this product! It's easy to use, clean and store. I prefer the manual dial to digital and this cooker works very well.

Skeptical 𤨠- But will give it a Try... (an āExpertsā Slow Cooker Perspective).
I am usually one to give a Super-LONG review about the products Iāve purchased (and it is no different here ā as I want all of you out there not to be BURNED š„ as many may have already been so). So let me give you both the SHORT and the LONG version (read the LONG version, if you need more details). SHORT: This Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker is NOT truly/truthfully 10 quartsš”. And it also has A LOT of quirks you should know about (so read on, for more details, if your interested). Here is the start of the LONG part: I mean, there shouldnāt be too much to a [simple] āSlow Cooker,ā Right?!? ā Donāt get me wrong, as I am absolutely PASSIONATE about the Slow Cooking genre. ā As it is (in my humble opinion), the very BEST way how to cooks foods, to the point of absolute [tender] food PERFECTION! šš And I NEED a [bigger] Slow Cooker, so that I can fit my 9 lb Turkey š¦ breast into them. But, I have also been BURNED (MANY times), by various Slow Cooker products (Iām speaking figuratively, not literally - as in, being āburned,ā by BAD/junky products). As an example, Iāve [Recently] had to TRASH an āElite Cuisineā 9qt (by Maxi-Matic). (In fact, Iāve gone through at least THREE (3) of these Monsters [so it would be WISE to AVOID the Maxi-Matic Slow Cooker line, as they seem to be one of those āCheapā Chinese products]). I know!, I KNOW.... I should have given up, after two, but I LOVED ā¤ļø its bigger size, which was the the very āLargest,ā for its time (plus, it always worked PERFECTLY, from anywhere 6 months to a year š©). With that, I was somewhat āSkepticalā when I received my (this) Hamilton Beach 10qt (today), as it looks š VERY similar to the Maxi-Matic in make & structure (maybe a wee bit, Taller). Frankly, the MAIN problem that Iāve had so far with these [similar] Slow Cooker models, is that their Heatingš„ Elements will usually [eventually] either, burn out or, just stop working altogether š”š¤¬ But enough āBloviatingā š§ - let me just run down the Proās & Conās of this Hamilton Beach, as I see it (so far). Pros: 1) It is a wee bit bigger, being about an inch or so [Taller] - (but see my Con on this). 2) I like the āLockingā top lid (but see Con). 3) The top lid is also āVentedā (with two [2] holes š³), so steam can escape, being self-bast a little. 4) The controls are āOld Schoolā (which I like), as opposed to the Digital Controls, on most ānewerā models. 5) I do like the Black color, as it āHidesā stains or scratches (Things that you can more easily see š in the more common White ones, that Iāve had in the past). 6) It does get VERY hot š„ [FAST!, so WATCH out!!š š»šØ] ā and KEEP AWAY any plastic object, at least a few INCHES! š§š (which is also a Con, somewhat). Cons: 1) When I said it was a wee bit bigger I didnāt mean by much. The Hamilton Beach SAYS itās 10qt, but when you test this then it comes out a wee bit SHORT. You see, 10qts SHOULD add up to 40 cups. But, when I tried to put 40 cups into the ceramic pot, I found that the liquid comes ALL the way to the Very TOP rim (and NO ONE is going to fill this up to the very TOP š¤). More than likely, youāll fill it up to where the LID rest. At this level, the liquid would only reach 9.5 qts (or 38 cups). But NOT 10qts. So this is [somewhat] deceptive š” 2) The Power Cord is VERY short!! (2 feet, MAX), so you WILL need an Extension Cord. 3) There is NO Power Light š” (almost every Cooker Iāve ever had, had a Power Indicator [Light] included ā NOT HERE! š” (So youāll have to do what most reviewers have suggested (to know it is on), which is āFeelā the heatš„ coming from/off the sides š„µ). 4) Some reviewers have noted a āBurning Smellā when you first turn on the Unit. ā And this is TRUE!! (Hope this will eventually go away, as many have claimed). 5) The Black color is both a Pro, but ALSO a Con (as the color may HIDE left-over food residue [that you CANāT see š ]). So both Bad, and Good (Break-Even, and/so not a Deal-Breaker). 6) As noted, the locking Lid IS nice, but the only PROBLEM is that it is sometimes VERY FINICKY (where, if you donāt latch BOTH sides, at the SAME [Precise] time, then one side will FLIP, back up). (This is obviously a [weird] āAlignmentā issue). Not a āDeal-Breakerā (Just ANNOYING š¤š”). 7) And lastly, the āFitā of the Ceramic Pot (within the heating container) is VERY āLoosey Goosey,ā with about at least a Quarter to Half-inch of Play. Iāve noticed this seems to be a āCommonā thing with these [Bigger] Slow Cooker models (I just wished these would āFitā in better). Again, not a Deal-Breaker (as long as it cooks effectively and efficiently, Iām fine). So (again), as my Title states/implies, the Jury is still out on this Hamilton Beach (I will update, when/if anything Pops up). I mean, seriously, if it works (Last) LONGER than my old [Cheap] Elite Cuisine/Maxi-Matic, then Iād be OVERjoyed š (Weāll see š¤)

The perfect crock pot
I Love this crock pot! I love the bigger deeper pot because itās perfect for those family soup nights! I never worry about not having enough room or over flowing this crockpot. I wonāt go back to the smaller pot now. This pot is amazing for family nights or entertaining a crowd! I like the simplicity of the spin handle verses the buttons. I can switch this thing to low and know it will still be on when I get home on those long days! It also has the locking lid so that when I travel I do not have to worry about spills! 10/10 recommend this wonderful crockpot!

Good size, good price.
Great size for big potlucks. Only drawback is liner bags aren't available in the 10 quart size at WallyWorld or other grocery stores. Make sure to buy them also when purchasing this item.
