High value, good sound, yes
I needed a solution for the RV tv, it sounded tinny and way too low volume. We only needed something cheap. Well this is that perfect product. The sound quality is good, the max volume is really good, at least for close listening. I wouldn't use these to fill up a large room. These are essentially computer speakers for sitting at a desk is what these are and they are perfect for things like that. They work great for the RV tv as a small theater setup. It does not sound tinny, it is well balanced. The pebble series of speakers are one of the more recommended products for the price range. For 20-40usd (depending which model), it's hard to beat. They have high and low gain, they are powered by usb. The sound input is from the 3.5mm aux audio cable. I plugged it into the bottom of the RV tv where the audio plug is and it worked great. Just raise the volume of the tv to about 90-95% and then adjust the pebble speakers as needed. I don't suggest raising the tv volume to 100% because of potential clipping.I'm glad I found these.

Nice Little Speakers
Bought these to replace a pair of Creative speakers that developed a bad problem. The sound is surprising good and they are small and unobtrusive and and are inexpensive but not cheap by any means. Just wish the speakers had a cloth/screen to protect them.

A great buy for the price depending on what you use them for. Advice to people with hearing issues.
I'll make this entertaining so you'll stick around for all of it.First I should say that I was a young adult in the days when your stereo speakers were big enough to use as side tables for your sofa. The sound could pick you up and DELIVER YOU TO THE ANGELS ABOVE! There's not much that will top the sound we experienced through those. Certainly not two speakers the size of small grapefruit. I never expected that. I bought these Pebble speakers for the daily doings on my iMac with its mediocre speakers. I have a big JBL bluetooth speaker in my art studio for music. Old men DO dance when the right rock-n-roll is playing, however embarrassing it may be to watch. DEAL WITH IT.Speed forward from those speakers-as-furniture years to my current days. Those ANGELS I mentioned have delivered me into my hearing aid years. But, Oh God, it was worth it. Now I need everything I can find to be able to hear clearly when it's important. I wanted these Pebbles to provide clear sound to hear things for spoken word functions, Zoom meetings, instructional videos and such. These speakers are clear and crisp and seem to do the job, but there's not enough base to vibrate anything around them. So that may be a deal breaker for those that are looking for music-forward uses. Don't expect the windows to rattle from the bass as we once did. That's the only reason I took off a star.Set-up: These aren't bluetooth. Two earlier bluetooth speakers that connected so well to the iPad in my studio kept cutting out off and on through my office iMac because of all of the other equipment around it. No advice online seemed to help. So I went looking for wired like these. All it took was the glance at the quick-start guide and I was up and running. I turned the Mac volume settings up all the way, as was suggested so that the Pebbles get their full due to work with, and now except for the mute button on the keyboard, I control volume with the volume dial on the one speaker. At night so as not to wake anyone nearby, I just swap out the 3.5 mm audio jack of the Pebbles for the same jack for my non-bluetooth headsets. Currently that jack plugs into a USB hub with a variety of ports rather than the back of my iMac that no longer has that port. The other cable, USB connection can just go to a wall converter rather than into your PC or Mac since it just supplies power. Frees up your ports. One last thing. Several said these speakers weren't stereo. Well mine sure are. I just heard a motorcycle start up in my left speaker and drive over to my right one for a beer. And for the record, I've been drinking water all day.Enjoy your Pebbles!

AMAZING for the price
Some of the best speakers for the price for sure, I've had mine for over a year and a half and they've had almost no problems (none that I can remember) They have good sound quality and decent bass for just being the 2 speakers. I know almost nothing about sound systems, but I do know that these have served be well and they look good on my desk.

Really impressed with the size/cost to performance ratio
I wanted better speakers and needed something small and compact as my current desk isn't very large. The compact stereo (not 2.1) speaker category seemed dominated by absolutely cheap crappy no-name Chinese speakers, then I stumbled across the V1 Creative Pebble. I've been a Creative fan (mostly) for literally decades now and I saw almost all of the reviews were glowing. But I was put off by the design and USB-powered aspect. I wanted traditional square speakers, and the Pebbles just looked weird. And I know we have more powerful USB ports these days, but I'm so used to anything sound-related powered by USB being weak and anemic, and bass? Haha, no. The low price point also made me skeptical. I wondered if they were truly good or if the people leaving reviews were just so used to crappy speakers these seemed like a massive improvement in comparison. But I kept coming back and thinking about it. Then I saw there were upgraded versions, and they too had glowing reviews. Finally I decided I'd take a chance. I went with the next-to-newest version, the even more improved V3 with the RGB ring at the base because that looked cool but not overly flashy. Unfortunately when I got them I realized they are, in fact, not black or dark grey as they appear in the listing but rather DARK FOREST GREEN. WHY, Creative, why?! Why offer a product like that in only one awful, non-traditional color? Peripherals sporting RGB lighting are almost always marketed towards games. I don't know a single gamer who would find speakers of that color complimentary to any of their other hardware. I mean I could see neon green or neon red, while also non-traditional colors, being more appropriate to a gamer aesthetic than dark forest green. It might seem silly to some, but I was not going to pay that price for ugly speakers. So back they went.I decided I'd try the V2 Pebbles. Lesser specs and no RGB, but the price was much cheaper. I was still skeptical about the USB powered nature, however. After I got them in I realized they were larger than I thought they were but that's okay, they still fit fine and are much smaller than my previous speakers. I had to use the USB C-to-A adaptor that's included with them, and plugged them into a USB 2.0 port that had a higher power output for charging phones, so it enabled high gain mode. And I was really surprised. The reviews do do them justice. They do sound really good, and they do have decent bass. Are they better than larger, higher-end speakers? Absolutely not. Are they outstanding for their size, and especially their cost? Absolutely. I do wish they have a headphone jack on the front, though. The only other quibble I have, and it's a minor one at that, is the driver color. There's nothing wrong with it but I would've preferred black or even silver versus gold. But like I said, it's a minor quibble. In short if you want cheap, decent, compact speakers you can't go wrong here. I'm thinking about ordering a second pair for my kitchen TV that could use louder speakers.
