Great sprinklers
Took out the old fashion sprinklers and installed these. Great product works as described.

Reliable, durable, and a fast install
Over time, I've replaced 12 of my original contractor installed Hunter rotor heads that failed with the Rain Bird CP5004PC Pro Rotors. I've been very impressed with how easy they are to install and adjust. Do yourself a favor and review the videos on the Rain Bird web site and/or owner videos on YouTube. Yes, it comes in a zip lock bag which I like. It keeps all the leftover parts secure and visible instead of in a box you can't see through.For a self install you don't have to have these but the T-shape lift up tool is nice to have. I also have a horseshoe shaped "hold up" tool which makes the job much faster.The nozzle is NOT installed by default. This is a good thing. If you're removing an old rotor, look at the nozzle number on it and use that number if you liked its spray pattern.Every single Rain Bird product I've ever used has worked perfectly out of the package.

Easily the best in ground sprinkler head
Just replaced some broken ones I had in the ground. Replaced one for one and would get these again if another one breaks.

Upgrade Over my old heads.
I’ve tried several configurations with my above ground irrigation. I have used orbit voyagers, rainbird brass impacts, and oscillators. These rainbird 5000’s have been an upgrade over all of those, easier to adjust, better rain curtain, more throw. Great heads.

look for size of pipe to sprinkler head
my sprinkler pipes are 1/2inch these are three-quarter inch so now I have to wait for 3/4 inch to 1/2 inch adapter so I won’t be able to put the e 3/4 inch one in till Friday but I did have one already and it seems to work fine it’s not what I expected -when it pops up it just has a little spout where is the one I had before I had a bigger spout but anyway it works I

Easy replacement
Replacing an existing sprinkler head is as easy as digging out the old one and screwing this one in. You may need to add a riser if replacing a model that had a longer body as I did.
