Part was packed great! Went in very easy after I found my one connection wire that I lost in the access hole. BE SURE TO CLIP WIRES WITH A ClOTHESPIN OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT NOT TO LOSE IN ACCESS HOLE after finding wire it was a breeze.

Works as expected.

Great product. Saved a ton of money. Husband was able to install. Installation was easy and fit was perfect. Very happy with product.

Review November 2020: Oven heating element arrived damaged due to poor packaging, an oversized box with no padding. Connectors were bent but serviceable. Element is not centered and hangs up a little when it is screwed in. Installation was unnecessarily difficult. It is still working and has been used a few times. Edit May 2022: After a year and a half of heavy use, the heating element was working well. However, it failed due to a major baking mishap that dripped onto it... completely user error. I replaced it with another one that was packed more appropriately (unlike the first one) and it is working like a champ. Changing my rating - I gave 3 stars because I was annoyed by the negligent damage of my item, but the new replacement works like a 5 star product at a competitive price. Also, it is much straighter and was easy to install.

Easy to install. Unit came bent so had to gently bend the element to get it to sit flat on the bottom and in the center of the oven. Other than that it is working as planned and we have an oven again.

Our Kenmore stove was NOT LISTED on Sears web site. Unbelievable. I matched the measurements with this one and it fits our 229.8003 purchased in 2008 just fine.

My Maytag Gemini double oven bottom oven was not heating. Broiler was working so I suspected the lower bake heating element had failed. This unit was easy to swap in for the old element and fit perfectly. My lower oven is now warming and holding to temp once again. Only issue I had with is the packaging used for shipping left a lot to be desired. The part was in a plastic bag, which was in a slightly larger box with not enough filler to keep the part from rattling around in the box. The electrical connectors had ripped holes in the plastic bag and were exposed. Other than that would recommend.
