I was never fond of metal dice but i bought these as a birthday gift for my brother and they arrived excellently packaged and came in a wonderful presentation tin. The Dice themselves were nicely weighted, feeling very good in the hand, the printed numbers are perfect and the overall look of the dice is awesome. I'm thinking of now buying a set for myself as these just impressed me so much!

The dice themselves are heavy and well-made. They don't bounce as much as plastic dice but they are no doubt noisier. If you're playing at night and rolling on hard surfaces, this is something to keep in mind. The quality of the visual design of the case is outstanding and the case itself is well-made, too. There are velvety inserts stuck to the top and bottom pieces inside the case to prevent scratching.There's no denying these are expensive dice. However, if you're playing with them regularly and have some money to spare, I think they're well worth it.

Confezione OTTIMA, con il suo imballo interno, la scatola di metallo è stupenda e i dadi sono davvero belli, pesanti poichè di metallo e non di plastica, non penso siano adatti ai bambini, ma se volete fare un bel regalo ad appassionati di giochi di ruolo da tavolo questi sono stupendi su tutta la linea.

The dice I received are perfect. They are an amazingly beautiful high-quality set of dice.  This is my first set of metal dice and I must say I'm really taken with not only their appearance, but also their solid, satisfying feel.  I don't know that I'll ever be able to go back to plastic dice again!01/04/19 - Update: I've now used the dice during six D&D game sessions over the last ~2.5mos and they are showing unexpected signs of wear/damage. Originally the dice where perfectly shiny with a near-mirror-like surface. This now appears to be just some sort of top-layer that can (and has in some places) be chipped-off or flake away and/or looks pitted/dinged.After the first, but before the wear, I ordered two more full sets (and some extra individual die direct from SkullSplitter). I put all the dice in a dice bag (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B013608Z8E). I didn't know these metal dice were so fragile. Also during sessions, I tend to fiddle with my dice, so that adds extra wear. But darn it, these are *GAMING* dice, they're *SUPPOSED* to be played with, right? I do roll them in a velvet/leather tray (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DZJJ7CS). If you want to maintain the finish, keep in the foam-filled tins, and use sparingly, I guess.I have removed one star (from 5 to 4) because of lack of durability. I do miss the perfect shine, but there is something cool about the patina of use. Adds character? They're still great dice that feel/roll wonderfully, I would still highly recommend (so far?).

We love these dice! I got them for my roommate for x-mas as the house set is about 6yo and the edges have worn down and rounded.First they are absolutely beautiful. Very light reflective. And the weight is satisfying and dramatic. After one night of use he declared he will never go back, which if you have a fave set of dice you know what high praise this is. We've been using the same set exclusively for years and refer to them reverently as The Dice, so a switch is a big deal.The best part is the sound, such a solid thunk; and the sound of them hitting each other is awesome.I tried to capture it, the purple set are some random standard plastic dice we had around.(Also sorry for the vertical vid and the state of our dice box, it's been through a lot)Highly recommend, got a great reaction on opening. The outer packaging is really nice, although the metal tin is a little flimsy around the hinges.

I wanted a set of copper dice, and from the photos on line, this looked like the perfect set. And truth be told, this is a very nice set of dice. They’re well made, have some heft to them, and come in a nice protective, albeit a bit cheesy looking metal, hinged case. I’m betting that most people who buy these are really going to like them.However, from the picture, these appear to be a slightly dull and tarnished copper, which is exactly what I wanted. In actuality, these are about as shiny as they could be. And the color, while I suppose could be considered copper, has a pink tint to it that makes them appear more of a rose gold. I just didn’t care for the appearance and sent them back. I’m going to try a copper set from another brand and see how that goes.If you don’t mind a set of super shiny, pinkish hued copper dice, these are for you. If you’re hoping for a set with a touch of tarnishing as depicted in the photos, that’s not what you’re going to get. For this price, I felt it wasn’t unfair for me to be picky.

I recieved my Skull Splitter Dice the other day through Amazon.com, and they are beautiful. I love the look and the feel of them in hand. My only complaint (and this is fairly nit-picky) is the smaller size of the metal die compared to Skull Splitter's other polyhedral die. The d20, d12, and d4 are really close in size. The d10's are a bit smaller, not a big deal, but the d6 and the d8 are way smaller and a bit off putting for my liking. Again, the quality is not being disputed here, just my personal opinion that the d8 and d6 are too small. I really like the metal dice a lot, but I do not love them, thus 4 out of 5 stars on this transaction.

These Dice are SOLID! I bought them as a gift for my friend, and he loves them! These dice are very heavy, and land with force. Be careful, I think they might be able to scratch a table, or even break a phone screen. We had to get my friend a dice box, because of his reckless rolling. Aesthetically they look great! The green numbers are easily identified, and have a nice contrast against the black dice. Would recommend for any campaign/game.

Great dice set! Cool to have in hand at the table, and a heavy substantial feel. The numbers contrast well with the finish and even my old eyes can read them easily. The packing is fantastic, the little case is cool, and each die has it’s own little foam cubbyhole to keep the safe (from what I have no idea, these things seem indestructible, maybe to keep the case safe from the dice). A great gift!One thing to note however, the dice are slightly smaller then the “standard” size that most plastic dice sets come in.

These are very nicely executed - they are really more for CCG players for games that use dice, but the non-dice slots can be repurposed to store other items, such as miniatures. Gave them to my RPG group as a belated Christmas gift and they were very well received. The metal dice were especially cool. One word of warning - this is NOT the same size as the other SkullSplitter Dice Cases

Okay, let me start off by saying these dice are BEAUTIFUL. The whispers of the void dice are VERY much my aesthetic, the black shiny nickel is gorgeous and the Purple numbers are an amazing compliment to them.However, during a DND game, if you don't have the lights on, it's very difficult to read what you rolled. Especially on the D20. I play by lamp light and the black nickel washes out the Purple which makes me sad cause it's pretty annoying.So I can't give a complete 5 stars. But they are so beautiful in complete light, that they earn a full 4 stars!Edit: It was my light bulbs. I changed to different ones and now the numbers actually Pop out! Perfect!

Solid quality metal dice. We purchased these as a Christmas gift for our sons. They are just getting into role playing games and are really enthusiastic about it. They are heavy and roll evenly without going all over the place. The design of the storage tin is "really cool" according to the boys but the hinges are a little flimsy and the lid does not stay shut. It keeps popping up, so we will need to buy something else to store the dice in so the boys won't lose them. Overall, we recommend the product.

Dice are nice and hefty and make a satisfying sound when rolled. They come in a nice tin, with all the high rolls facing up, which is a cool little sign that they are paying attention to the details.Gonna test them out with my Half-Orc this weekend! I bought them in green to match his skin.
