Color
Nice product. The color of the blue was misleading in the picture. I would say it is a royal blue.

Good for the price
My 5yr old is slender. When zipping this up I stop short of going all the way up, and am extra careful with remembering keep the velcro a little looser (that section could be slightly longer) as after her lessons I’d found red marks on her neck. She also wears a rash guard shirt and shorts underneath. This is because the pool she takes lessons in keeps it “race temperature”, and she’s still come out of the pool a few minutes early with blue lips.

Tiny grandson, but it fit perfectly
He may be 3 1/2 feet tall. He weighs 30 pounds he's four years old and he is tiny and it does fit perfectly. I was so surprised.

Comparison of 2 brands (Hevto and Lemorecn)
I have purchased two different brands of wetsuits (Hevto and Lemorecn). Differences were as follows: 1) Lemorecn had longer arms and legs. Since my son is tall but skinny, this was a better overall fits. 2) There are zippers at the bottom of the legs for Lemorecn but only for this particular style where there is a large gray patch in the front (I also purchased another Lemorecn suit that is black and light blue but it did not have the zippers at the bottom). This made wearing it and taking it off easier. 3) The ends of the sleeves and pants for Lemorecn had a tailored finish. The Hevto ones seemed like they just cut the material and that's it. 4) The Lemorecn suits had reinforced knee area. Thus far, am happy with this purchase as it fits my son better.

The 3mm is a good wetsuit - order a size up
We ordered a 2mm and a 3mm wetsuit. The 2 mm suit has a tiny neck hole too small for humans. The 3 mm was a good fit for my 6 year old son but ordered a size above the chart. Skinny kid no more shivering at the pool. He looks pretty cool as well. Neck is way better in the 3mm, avoid the 2mm.

Runs small, very small neck, dimensions NOT accurate!
I took all of the needed measurements. My 2 ye old is 40", 22" waist, 23" chest, and this barely fits him. I also am an experienced wetsuit wearer. I get it that folks don't know how a wetsuit should fit, but this is a bit extreme. My son is at the very lowest of the size range and it barely fits. The neck is the worst. Won't fully zip. The Velcro is just long enough to keep it closed. That said, it's not so tight that it's cutting off circulation, so I'll keep it. Advice is, use the LOW end of the size as your gauge. Any larger than that... Go to the next size.

Great looking style and fabric
After reading a lot of amazon reviews and also measurement charts, I finally decided on this suit to replace another wetsuit brand that my child had grown out of (and they only make up to age 4). We use it exclusively for swimming in a very cold public pool. Based on the reviews I ordered a size 8 (child is a tall - 90th percentile - 6.5 years). Arrived today and we both LOVE the suit in terms of feel and look. Fabric is thicker than our previous wetsuit and the zip line has a very long pull which my kid loved. The size 8 is too big though in terms of width. Length is perfect for my tall kid but I can tell that the arms and legs will let water in as it is meant for an older kid. It would easily fit a well-built 8 year old kid. We are returning and I already ordered the size 6, which I hope will fit in length and also be nice and snug around legs/arms so that it can work in the water. Nice product though for the price and I'm excited to get results once we are in the pool with it, it seems like it would be warm.

Quality product
My grandson wears a size 8 but based on reviews, I ordered a 10. He loves it but it is too large and rubbed the back of his neck. He tried going back to regular trunks and immediately switched back the to wetsuit for the buoyancy it provided, so we're coming up with a remedy. The quality is impressive and given that this was too large, I am confident that it will last as he grows.
