Good Herb For Your Empty Gel Pills!
Bought these not only for the benefits in my health and wellness journey, but also recommend in filling this herb with empty gel cap pills! I take these daily first thing in the morning! Cheaper than if you were to buy the pulls already in a container! And you can also get the gel caps cheaper as well!

Not an extract and not standardized to the proper amount of bacosides to achieve benefit.
I should have done more research before buying this. Apparently when Bacopa is just advertised as a powder it is really not an extract, so the potency is much reduced. In addition, even if it was an extract, it would have to be standardized to at least 30% but better yet 55% bacosides to provide the benefit reported in studies. Even these studies are conflicting in their findings, but at least you know you are using the substance appropriately. This powder may not have any bacosides. Unfortunately I cannot return this, which is a new phenomenon in Amazon that a lot of suppliers are taking advantage of. If the customer is duped into believing they are buying the appropriate supplement there is no recourse once you find out you were wrong. Oh well, a $12 lesson.
