Mighty Max Battery 12V 22AH Sealed Lead Acid Battery for Jump N Carry JNC660

I bought this to rebuild a jump starting unit, rather than buy a whole new unit. This has greater capacity than the original battery. Keep it charged for best battery life. Buying this battery was half the price of replacing the whole unit, definitely a good value.

The USPS lost the first battery they shipped for 2 weeks. They sent a replacement battery to me free of charge and it arrived in good shape.

I purchased the DeWalt DXAEJ14 jump starter / tire inflator from Amazon. I prefer lead acid battery vrs lithium ion due to concerns with lithium. Yes, lead acid is heavier. but product stays in my trunk for emergencies, so being cautious. The most important part of a rechargeable lead acid, is to cycle through recharging on a regular basis, otherwise the battery will lose ability to charge. I will admit being forgetful...so the original battery in my DeWalt, failed. The Mighty Max was an exact replacement, comes with a great warranty. Happy with product, but shame on me for not keeping after my original battery. Live and Learn. All is good as new now and took my old battery to local recycle center. Recommended if you need to replace yours!

The battery does fit in the case thing but the terminal connections are a little bit different and the wire has to be twisted at an angle to work. Did not have to modify the box or the wiring but it is not an absolute 100% direct fit but works just fine. I have given it two months to prove itself and it is still at 100% of its rated cranking.

As other have indicated, the terminal connectors are different. Therefore, open your JNC 660 first, then identify how the terminals are connected. I had to bend the terminals and it was difficult to install. Another problem I had was that it would not take a charge. I had to use a battery maintainer (battery tender) to charge it but I am not sure if it will work when jump-starting a car.

My old JNC660 battery was 7 years old and was not holding its charge very well. As far as dimensions go, this battery was an exact fit to the JNC660 case. The problem I had was that the new battery's terminals were vertically straight, where the original battery's terminals are at a 90 degree angle. In order to get this battery into the case and reach the connector plugs, you must bend the terminals. I took me about 30 minutes of bending and adjusting the terminals before I could get the plugs to connect to the terminals and close the cover. Other than that, my old JNC660 is as good as new.
