Caster and Cranking Claims are True!
The advertisement claims look to be true! I had a generic Fulton 1500# jack that came with my trailer. After mistakenly leaving it down while driving (oops..), I needed it to be replaced. I got the XLT because it claimed better caster performance and less effort in cranking. I can say both claims are definitely true. Changing direction is now effortless and the hand crank is fast and easy. The build quality looks to be top notch; I was impressed this could be had for just a little over $100. The cost difference between the generic jack and the XLT is insignificant compared to the performance, and it was a direct bolt-on to my existing welded mounting plate. Get the XLT; you won't regret it.

Solid Jack. Poor packaging, thankfully the part wasn’t damaged
The jack itself is of good quality. It’s beefy so make sure it fits lengthwise on your trailer. As for packaging, I purposely selected to hide the original packaging, but as you can see, the jack shipped out of its original packaging in a massive box with the corporate branding all over it. So much for discrete shipping. Two small packs of expanding foam were used but didn’t offer any protection inside the gigantic box. Also note, this is a bolt through design, it does NOT ship with hardware it’s supposed to use your existing hardware and a “bolt through” mount that is welded on your trailer frame. If you don’t have that, select another jack option or you’ll need to obtain and weld on the bracket.

No mount
This dose not come with the mount. You will spend $35 more and waste 2 weeks waiting.Buy a different jack

Best Jack if you want to roll around
This jack has the best swiveling wheel Ive had on a jack. I need to position a work trailer and the other jacks (3 different ones) all had the swiveling design not rotate well when under load. Leaving me to kick it to the direction I was pushing. This design is far better. The handle is also a pleasure to use.Note- Make sure to order separately the mount you need. Same on me for not noticing the warning. The "weld on" part is part is made by Bulldog P9012-00

Solid and maneuverable
So much better than the OEM version I had and another one I foolishly purchased from Menards as it was bending under stress even well within load limit. This Fulton is more robust and the crank is more efficient. I like the larger wheel because now I can push-maneuver the boat in the garage.

Great upgrade from Fulton XLT
Best trailer jack I have ever owned, good height and easy to crank up and down...great upgrade from my previous Fulton XLT jack, nothing negative about this jack so far it was easy to install. Have been using it for 3 months and has performed without any issues.

Probably ok for little aluminum boats
I bought for the replacement for an older fulton jack that was no longer made on my dorsey trailer that my Malibu 247 sits on. It works, but it is already leaning really bad in less than a year. I think it is mainly due to the way these are mounted and do not have a wide contact area, basically just a small area behind the nut holding it on to the welded plate.
