Perfect for those sharp gutter edges. They are a little tough to get on at first but once they are on they stay on. I like the piece of mind knowing there are no more sharp edges exposed.

These downspout guards are difficult to install, so my downspouts are still a hazard.

My down spouts are contoured and I gave up trying to get it on. Time for plan B.

We invested in a new leaf guard gutter system, but they left the downspouts with Freshly sharp edges exposed. I asked if they provided the exposed edges covers, They implied that that would be a good idea, but they did not provide them or know where I could find such a thing.. We had a birthday party coming up where kids would be running around the house and I didn’t want to risk someone getting badly cut on our down spouts . They were sharp like a freshly cut can lid!So I went on Amazon and online looking for a product to cover those edges so I didn’t have to make something myself. I found these on Amazon, I was Happy to see that they had the larger size that leaf guard uses for their spouts.3X4” . Ordered a pack of four And found them aesthetically pleasing, but with a learning curve. So many people made some complaints. But I feel like some of those complaints need to come with some common sense of handling sharp metal. Obviously wear gloves, preferably tight fitting leather, I use some tight fitting winter gloves and had no issue. You will likely have to cut several of them because of the Crimping Of your individual gutter. Some of mine Had large ridges and some of mine very small and almost straight. The ones that had less crimp were easier and one of them didn’t need to cut it all. If you have large crimping you more than likely will be cutting i, so hold it up and decide where it’s going to be too big and cut that side before you try to put it on.Another tip is to stretch out the spacing where it’s going to slip over the sharp edge. I used a closed scissors to slide it through the inside seam stretching it out and bending it open with my fingers before applying to the downspout. Which one took me less than 10 minutes to apply once I figured out eye measure, cut, then stretch. Then start on one side, placing the cut edge at the bottom of the downspout and work your way around again if you have any access. If you have smaller, crimp Edges edges it will stay on more firmly, less likely to fall off. Larger crimp edges will have the opposite effect And if it gets bumped by something, you may have to reapply it. Very happy with product and the fact that it exist I’m wondering if another type of material could make it even better. Overall, and look please to the eye.I included some pictures showing one that didn’t need to be cut because it had small crimping, And other pictures showing the bulging created by the larger crimp downspout.

These work great at protecting pets from the sharp edges of your gutter downspout but they sent the wrong color. Not a huge issue but why not pay attention to the order?

Have to cut them to get them on. Do not stay on very well especially when I'm dragging a hose around them. I'll have to glue them on. Too expensive for the quality.

Quality is good, but hard installations . It keeps us safe. Useful.

These "rubber" downspout end-caps make the downspout look so much better, that I decided to remove the Regular Extensions - and just used these end-caps under a downspout "mat" instead. I had an issue with the first downspout and I could not get the end-cap on properly - and it still is not on correctly.I must say it was not an easy task [bending, opening slot and] getting the end-caps on, but overall, I recommend these White Downspout End-Caps, for a more beautiful extended look of the downspout.
