I love this bench. The acacia wood looks great and feels solid and well-built. Assembly was straightforward, and once put together it’s very sturdy and comfortable. I’m using it in my sauna room, and it’s been a perfect fit. The wood handles the environment well and adds a clean, natural look to the space. The backrest and armrests make it comfortable to sit on before and after sauna sessions. Overall, great quality, great look, and exactly what I was hoping for. Highly recommend.

I just moved into my new apartment, and with its killer views but tight space, I was about to nix the whole idea of having a dining room table—until my obsessive research finally turned up these perfectly-sized benches. These two not only fit into this corner to form a just-right banquette, but they also function beautifully as simple, elegant indoor seating. I’ve cushioned them with Indian kantha blankets and draped a shearling over the back. I like 👍🏼 They were a cinch to assemble, and they’re very sturdy and surprisingly comfortable for two adults per bench.

I got this bench as a present for my wife and she loves it. The design and size are perfect for our front yard and it is very comfortable, even for me. I am 6'4" and many benches are too low in the back for me to enjoy leaning in. Not this bench. The bench is very well packed and arrived complete and without damages. The included instructions are clear and easy to follow. All parts fit well and the bench assembled quickly and stands straight and level. Build quality is very good and seems to be fully sealed. I did add another coat of sealer, just in case, because the bench will sit outside, exposed to the elements. The bench looks and feels much more expensive than the price suggests. Five stars all the way.

This bench is solid and stable and fairly comfortable - I like it a lot! I did deduct 1 star though - partly for the few patches that are missing finish/varnish, but mostly because of the incredibly hard work it was to put it together! There are not many pieces, should have been a piece of cake, but it wasn't because the pre-drilled holes were not big enough or long enough. Should have had my husband drill them bigger but didn't want to ruin anything so persevered with the allen wrench provided. Wasn't long before it became tight and hard to turn and there's still a good 2" of screw sticking out! I wrapped a rag around the allen wrench to get a better grip and to stop it hurting my fingers. I eventually managed it but took a ridiculous amount of time! 4 of the screws seated in the center of the indentations, but 2 didn't. By this time both the allen wrench and hex 'slot' in the top of the screw were completely rounded so had to leave as is. They don't look too bad and I can live with it.

After reading other reviews, I went ahead with the purchase of this bench hoping for quality and no shipping damage. For a mass produced item I can say the quality is above average along with the finish and quality of the wood itself. Assembly was straight forward and easy. Other buyers have complained about fit and finish and the color itself. All pieces aligned properly. A nice feature is the mortise and tenon construction which lends to a tight finished bench. No splits or unsightly knots either. My only complaint would be the strength quality of the main hardware bolts. If you’re not careful the assembly Allen wrench will easily strip or damage the mediocre steel quality of the hardware. I find this to be a problem with most assembly hardware not made in the USA. I recommend using some WD-40 or some plain bar soap on the screw threads before tightening the sections together; an old trick a carpenter taught me years ago. All and all a nice bench for the price point. Keep up with exterior wood preservative and it should last a longtime. Add a nice cushion and it really adds something nice to a deck, patio or poolside. Would purchase again.

Item was delivered quick, was in good condition. Very easy to put together, total 14 screws. Looks good and sturdy. Nice bench.

I did extensive research as I was looking for a bench to put on my deck. I didn't want to spend a ton of money, but I want at least reasonable quality. Finally settled on this one. I wasn't that easy to put together, but managed to do with a little help from someone. Expect to spend some time, especially, if you are on your own. So far, so good. It looks to be a of good quality. With a nice cushion, it will be quite comfortable. Doesn't look cheap and works with my outdoor space. I will likely bring it inside when the snowy weather comes. But, I liked so far.

Super quick and simple to assemble. Helps to have a power drill for the the seat screws. Sturdy bench, BUT The color is almost carrot orange and not what I expected! Hopefully the sun will fade it or I can stain it a different color.

We are thrilled with this bench. It is exactly what we were looking for the space. Excellent and easy to put together.

Trying to put the bench together, we were given a small wrench, which was too small for the length of the screws. One of the screws went in on an angle and now it is sticking out of the top as it went in crooked. A better tool may have not caused this issue.

Bought two. They both look like hey have sat in weather for a year. Two of the allen key lag bolts stripped the heads while screwing them in.

They specifically mention to NOT use power tools and supply a flimsy Allen wrench to install the six main screws. Problem was with our bench, the pre-drilled holes were far too small. I’m experienced in furniture assembly and tried installing these screws carefully as per the manufacturer’s instructions. But three of the soft composite screws got stuck and the heads soon were stripped. I tried vice grips but they would not move. So we cannot use the bench, nor can we disassemble the bench to return it to Costway. We’re stuck with $260 worth of firewood. We’re very disappointed and will avoid shopping Costway in the future.
