Easy and amazing results! I'm finally growing in my lovely warm gray long curls, but the beautiful blending highlights my stylist gave me on top of my colored light brown was all getting TOO warm (yellow and orange) over time. Rather than trying to book an appointment for toning/glossing, or experimenting with at-home versions, I gave this a try. So glad I did! Used gloves and an old shower curtain to protect my area (just like if I was coloring) but so much faster, AND better for my hair, and the colors came out perfect - including my grays! Some of the older (whiter) pieces had a purple tint that came out with the first wash a day later. To save time, I plan to mix some in with my regular conditioner and adjust as needed - giving me the control I love for the color. I just wish I had taken before and after to share!

It brightens my silver hair. I use it once a week and let it sit on my hair for ten minutes, then rinse. My hair is soft and brighter. I recommend and will buy it again.

The lighter your hair, the more evident the effect of the color toning will be. I have bleached hair that is orange with paler yellow ends. I found the toning worked best when I applied the mask to clean, dry hair. Work it throughout as best you can, then add just little handfulls of water to help it fully spread. I also added another conditioner I have that is kind of runny, which helped spread it around in my hair. I put a shower cap over it and have left it for 5 minutes and 15 minutes. 5 minutes had a subtle change, mostly on the lighter hair. 15 minutes did a pretty good job toning everything! I rinse thoroughly and then apply just a little shampoo to get it fully out. When you rinse it out, it will make your tub slippery and the purple will be in the water, so make sure to rinse your tub well. The mask tints your hands purple very slightly, stops being noticeable after a couple washings. The toning on the hair seems to last around 3-6 washings. The mask has an herbal scent (not too unpleasant) that sticks with you for at least the first day. Regardless of if your hair color tones or not, the mask DOES make your hair soft and smoother. I am using roughly 6 Tbsp. or so each use, and it looks like I will get about 5 uses out of this container. But my hair is darker, so I need to use more - lighter hair could get more applications out of it.

No need for gloves because the color will wash off but this is some deep pigment purple. Does good job of keeping the brassy color in check. Container sealed well so no leaking. The product is very thick. I transferred it to a squeeze bottle, one blob at a time, since the container is not very shower friendly. My hair is soft after using.

Love how it removes the brassy tones. Makes hair feel super soft, and it smells amazing! Love it!

Mind your hair type. I have a soft black natural hair color. I bleached it volume 30 for 20-30 minutes to get that coveted, coppery orange color. Jump scare. I dyed it an ash brown to neutralize it but it didn’t work. I tried this product and it didn’t work. I would say my color is too dark of a copper to be fixed with anything other than a redo. This product smells nice but I can’t say it made my hair softer. I’m sure it works well for lighter situations. It’s very messy though so watch how you apply it and either work really fast or wear gloves to avoid dying your hands.

Very conditioning, but after only 10 minutes, turns blonde hair a purpley hue. Good news, the purple tint washes out after a few shampoos. Overall, too expensive a treatment to deal with the purple highlights. Wouldn’t buy again!

It softens very much but the yellowness is back after next shower.
