My old diamond clean lasted for years. This time something internal near the head started rattling after about a year. It still brushes but something seems off like the brushs arent holding as firmly maybe. It's an expensive brush, expected better but it still cleans pretty well. My old sonic care still better though.

These are a must have if you are concerned about your health. Just visited the dentist who said I didn't have any tarter build up! That's never happened before. I made my partner get one and bought this twin set for my kids for Christmas so I can be sure their teeth are at their best. Buy one you won't regret it, your teeth feel so much cleaner!

Finally update: I bought this and it was fine for the first nine months. Then it died. Amazon (eventually) got it repaired. Then it lasted another year and died again and they refused to repair it - the manufacturer because Amazon had already repaired. Amazon because by the time I had that response from the manufacturer it had reached 2 years from the date the order was placed (even though it was less than 2 years from delivery date to second breakdown). That really is rubbish on a £200 toothbrush. And the prior one I had lasted 2 years. So don't expect it to last even the length of your consumer rights, and expect both manufacturer and Amazon to be unhelpful about any problems.Originally I wrote the following review: Its an electric toothbrush, and it seems to work. So I'd say it is good enough but not wonderful.If you want a bit more detail: It has good battery life, and simple controls, and seems to have a good movement in terms of keeping my teeth feeling clean compared to the cheap brushes that just rotate. But whether the sonic element works or not, I can't really tell. The sonicare branded brush heads are ten times the cost of a toothbrush, and have a little chip to count uses to then bleep/flash annoyingly at you if you continue to use them for longer than a month, so I broke the little connector at the bottom of the brush head to stop that, and then bought non-brand heads which were much better value and seemed equally good quality. But obviously it is still creating lots of plastic waste. So if this is in your price range, and you aren't looking for something with better eco-credentials it seems alright. And based on my previous example works reliably for 2-3 years for two people, which seems adequate but isn't really enough to celebrate.9 months later I wrote the following update: It has done exactly what the predecessor did after 2 years - broken irreparably in exactly the same way. It feels loose at the head and makes a horrible noise, but no movement transfers to the brush to make it functional. After 9 months of light use, that's rubbish. I've now got to work out whether to go to Philips or Amazon to get it replaced.

We have been using this brand since 10yrs ago and as our toothbrushes needed full replacement ( after 5yrs) we decided to buy this same brand again as has improved so much our dental healthcare to the point we do not have any issues with tartar anymore. Definitely will continue to use these toothbrushes brand

These are excellent toothbrushes, and recommended by my dentist, however after about 18/21 months, the spindle attaching the brush comes loose and the toothbrush head wobbles around rather than cleaning the teeth properly.If you are lucky enough for this to happen within the two year guarantee period, Amazon has a very efficient repair organisation for repairs, however it's useful to have a back-up brush for when this will happen.Apparently this is a design recognised fault, mentioned by others, so I wish Philips would correct it, rather than allow this fault to continue.

I always thought that all electric toothbrushes were the same and refused to buy an expensive one. When I seen this on offer I decided to give it a chance as the reduction was significant.I'm so glad I did! My teeth have never felt so clean before! Absolute bargain considering 2 brushes and chargers come in this pack.The battery life it great and you get an amber warning light showing it will need charged soon. I got about 3 brushing sessions after this light came on before the battery died.Takes ages to charge but I just let it charge overnight so its ready for the morning.Highly recommend!

We have had Sonicare toothbrushes for years! Our current ones were finally in need of replacement after 10+ years. Saw these at Christmas and decided to upgrade and I am so glad we did. The charging ability is functional and flexible. They are easy to use and travel with. We won't use anything other than Sonicare. Excellent cleaning and whitening ability.

Nice to hold, looks pretty and feel like I get a deep clean every morning and night. App not worth extra tier boost so in hindsight should have got the spec lower down. The brush also flashes it’s light and not sure why so have taken to charging it all the time. Could be user error but I don’t mind it looks pretty in charging cup anyway. My partner also uses it and his teeth have improved with this after only ever using a manual brush before. Im Definitely happy.
