This is what I recommend to people. Excellent stuff 😉
Good stuff. It works smells like septic but it's supposed to is helping my aquarium cycle properly and fast. Thank you! I had added crushed coral with bits of organic matter in it. That makes my ammonia go up which is what I wanted. Also, I added macro algae. Some of it went through the wave maker and dispersed throughout the tank which also caused ammonia. So I put a little bit of this in the aquarium and tested the water daily. I also added a lot of porous filtration media and live rock and 3 to 4 inches of live sand. It was enough to dose my tank and also have more for when I add fish. This is good stuff and it works five stars all the way

Love this stuff!
I love this stuff! I have used other starter bacterias, but nothing compares to this as far as speed that it can cycle an aquarium! Both times I have ordered from this seller (saltwateraquarium.com), these have arrived appropriately packaged with a cooling pack. Very satisfied!!

WOW this stuff actually works and my fish will be OK!
Thanks to BayBridgeAquarium for telling me to put in the whole bottle, and shipping so fast, this is impossible to find out here on the Oregon Coast. Started up a new 13g EVO recently, but had some bad advice, did not cycle right. Have a Midas, Watchman Goby, and a Black Ice and had to change the water twice daily for a week just to keep ammonia down. Put this stinky stuff in, by the end of the day my ammonia actually went to 0 and fish look great. Tried this once before a long time ago without great success. I think it worked better this time because it came from a real LFS, so the expiration date was way far in the future. Using the bigger dose probably helped a lot too.

No luck here. Two weeks and the ammonia is okay, but buried in nitrites.
The bottle that arrived here definitely didn't work in 5 days. After two weeks, the ammonia is under control (the ammonia to nitrite bacteria is working), but we're still buried in nitrites (the nitrite to nitrate bacteria was either not included in this batch or it failed). The system is 25 ppt salt, ph 8.3, and constant 29 degrees C. The water is constantly circulating, there is a bio-filter tank along side the main tank, and both tanks are constantly aerated. I was rooting for this product, but it is both expensive and didn't perform. :-(

Amazon Prime does Not Ship with Ice or gel Pack. Buy from 3rd party seller.
Amazon Prime does Not Ship with Ice or gel Pack. Buy from 3rd party seller. Do not buy from the seller "Beyond your home" the product must be kept cold. all other sellers are good. If the product spoils you are basically pouring ammonia into your tank. the product itself is great just buy from a 3rd party seller not Amazon prime.

More progress in 3 days than an entire month
After waiting a month trying to do a fishless cycle and having absolutely nothing happen, I tried Turbostart to see if I could speed things up. This stuff really works, in the 72 hours since I added it, the ammonia level has dropped from 2ppm to 0.25ppm.

Nope.
I'd hate to be that guy that writes a bad review on something that has the reputation of being the best, however I have to. When the package arrived I didn't open it right away, I left it on my desk for a few hours. During those hours my room began to stink. When I finally opened the package, that is definitely where the smell was coming from. The bottle was still sealed. When I opened the bottle and when I added it to my tank, people outside the room were asking what the smell was. Needless to say, it ruined my tank, spiking ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels. After 10 days my levels were: 40 ppm Nitrate 4.0 ppm Nitrite 4.0 ppm Ammonia I have had to drain my tank, rinse it out and start again. I will not be using this again this time.
