I am super excited about using this in the fall and late winter to get my new plants to grow indoors. I was recommended this product for a friends who already had one and loves it! I would definitely buy this again! Great size too will hold quite a few seedlings.

very sturdy, good size, easy to use and nice to have the heating element built in.

It's cheap and it serves the purpose, acting as a portable greenhouse for germinating seeds, keeping them warm in a cooler indoor environment. The vent disk is a 30 mil thick, 4.75" diameter piece of black plastic that just lays on top of the depression in the clear lid. It arrived warped, would not lay flat, and would not stay flat. It's easily replaced using a piece of cardboard or craft material such as thin plastic or foam, trace the disk diameter and cutouts onto your craft material, and cut out using a hobby knife (X-Acto) or razor blade. I used a piece of 1/16" thick dense foam rubber with a knob glued on top center of the disk that I fabricated.

Really helps with faster and increased percentage of seed germination. I like the humidity dome, definitely adds humidity. The tray stays warm but not overly hot. It is my go to method for seed germination.

Very basic cheaply/poorly constructed propagator made in China.The plastic dome is very thin and arrives already sagging/mildly deformed straight out of the box.The seedling container need to be trimmed with some sissors at the corners in order for the plastic dome to fit properly.The perimeter lip of the plastic dome overhangs the base and water condensation leaks from the edges.I plugged the propagator in and without soil or water, the air temperature inside rose to 81°F .The base is sealed although, given the cheap construction, I'd be wary.For the money I wish I had gone with the Sankey propagator which I've had in the past and it was very sturdy with a real perspex dome, or just bought a heat pad and some plastic propagators out of the dollar store.The vent disc on top of the plastic dome just sits on a small indentation of the dome.Overall very underwhelmed of receiving this propagator. There are no instructions or tips, just the box and that's it.I've planted some tomatoe seeds and will try to update this review further down the line.

I use the seed germinator to start hard to germinate seeds like apple, walnut & peach. This device is easy to use and needs very little maintenance. I recommend the unit for all people who are interested in starting trees from seed. It’s also a great value for the money.

Great for the price. The vent and lid are a little flimsy. Heats up nicely. Sure, you could fab something similar at home. But I wanted something that I wouldn't have to put time into. I'm using rapid rooter plugs which are a little small but will work fine.
