Use them rarely but when I do they are necessary. Keep indefinitely refrigerated..
Excellent product I use for red lentil pate. Imparts brilliant flavour. Expensive but I use them sparingly.

Salty
Definitely bot what i expected. Incredibly salty. I can’t wait to try it in onigiri next week. It’s definitely an aquired taste though. If you don’t like very salty things it won’t be for you.

Ume.M.G! Yummy!
So good, delicious & tangy & great product. Mind the salt contents & personal use, so good on hot rice or Sushi. Will buy again, but they last for ages. Thanks very much

Offensively salty
Way too salty for me, couldn't even finish one, so disappointed if this is how they're meant to be.

very salty
Should be zero stars! I was intrigued by these Umeboshi plums and thought they would be similar to the sour plums (Wah plum)..the latter were a favourite childhood indulgence when I was in the far east. Judging by the expense I imagined that these would be similar and more superior! Way too salty...I should have believed the poor reviews! So don't waste your money....they went straight into the compost heap! I will stick to what I know and loved as a child!

Too salty.
Good price but much, much saltier than authentic umeboshi.
