Are the valves big enough for motorized air pumps? We don't want to blow these up by mouth.

The valves are small like typical inner tubes, but are able to be blown up with an air pump if you have one of the small nozzle attachments.

How big is the whole?

I am 5'10" 240 pounds & I have plenty of room in this tube.

You can also inflate them by mouth, takes about ten minutes

What is the gauge or mils of the vinyl? Is it different between top and bottom?

Hi. This is from the product page: "Heavy-duty vinyl construction with strong 12-gauge top and 16-gauge bottom" I've owned a couple of these and used them in a pool or floating on a creek. Wouldn't trust the included rope for tubing behind a boat but that's an easy fix. Hope this helped.
