I love doing high rep, low weight and these bars are a dream come true! I love that they are soft and swishy - so they don't hurt my hands at all! Yet, they still have a bit of grip you don't feel like you're going to sweat and they'll slip! They are sturdy and perfect for my daily workouts!

Granted, I personally have no way to weigh this bar to really gauge how heavy it is. But, considering that I have been in the iron game after some fashion for 20+ years, I have been around a lot of weights. Barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, you name it. And this Yes4All body bar, labeled "15lb", feels much, much heavier than fifteen pounds. I would not say that it feels as heavy as my unweighted straight bar (45#), but it is so much heavier than my threaded bar (12#) that it's almost funny.I am helping my friend get in shape and bought this body bar for her, assuming that she would be able to use it this week--but I don't think she will be able to do so. I don't think she is strong enough yet. So that is a disappointment, that the bar is something more along the lines that I would use, somehow, for one of my workouts.Aside from the actual weight of the bar, however, this looks to be a well-made and sturdy product. Hopefully it is just a fluke and other "15lb" bars from Yes4All are actually fifteen pounds.Note: my friend could use the bar for certain exercises and loves it. Bumping the rating up to four stars.

I got this for my teenager who just started hitting the weights. Good for a lot of different exercises. Not much versatility as you cant add weight to it but you know this when buying the item. I would by him another as he grows in the weight he needs.

Exactly what I wanted and the price is certainly very good.I had (very successful) physical therapy for several months with a shoulder aliment and one of the things used was a weight bar . I have the other items (resistance bands etc) that they used & wanted the bar to complete it so I can continue the regimen at home and avoid a return of the aliment.I can't imagine that any of the more expensive weight bars are any nicer.

I haven't gone to the gym since covid but I've been doing the same workouts just by watching them on YouTube. I used this bar for Les Mills Body Pump and it worked great. Really good workout... I already feel stronger from using it once. 20 pounds for me was enough to be challenging but not enough to get injured. I prefer this to a bar with disc weights on the side where I'm worried about them falling off.

Firm foam padding. Long bar. 29 pound bar is easy to put hands around the bar. I would recommend. Came as described and in perfect shape without defects. Arrived quickly.
