Hi - can the box be fitted to a gate, rather than a wall? I can't see any information about the fittings at the back. Thanks

Hi Natalie, I believe it can be fixed to the gate. It has two holes in the back pannel for screws. As long as there is something to fix the screws to, it should be ok.

How wide is the opening when the flap is lifted fully?

Is the lid heavy enough to withstand strong winds and rain. I live in a very exposed, rural place.

Hi I purchased this as a gift for friends who live in the country in Republic of Ireland. They are situated on a hill where they get hit with bad winds and rain (most of the time) they have had no complaints at all with their box and are delighted with it. They fixed theirs to their boundary wall by the gate to their drive. I hope tis helps
