This 16oz (1lb) brass hammer is just perfect for my usual gunsmithing needs. The smooth handle’s length is just right and even when it gets oily, it’s still easy to keep a firm grip due to its curvature. The balance is also just right and does not bounce like lighter hammers of it’s kind I’ve had in the pass.And as usual, made in the USA quality I always get from Grace USA!

Yes, machined brass contains lead. No, this should not be a concern if you're already dealing with guns and ammunition.High quality hammer, well finished handle. Gets -1 star for some tooling marks, but honestly it won't effect anything during use. Grace has just spoiled me with their other superb products.
