If this is a 3 inch ball, is the hand in the picture that of a tiny fairy?

An average adult index finger is about 3" long as is the plasma ball diameter of 3". So, the hand in the photo is much too small. Think they were just showing how you could affect the plasma when you touch the ball...and not get a shock.
