gave this a couple weeks trial , left my hair frizzy, dry and difficult to comb out as it wanted to mat down . threw it away , do not recommend .

So I bought this honestly just to reduce plastic bottle waste aka no more conditioner bottles and that it doesn’t have harmful chemicals in it. BUT I GOT THE HEAVENLY SURPRISE OF MY HAIR BEING RESTORED!!!I’ve struggled with my hair for a really long time, excessive dry no matter what I did. I tried a ton of different deep conditioners over the years and everyone in the family would still ask: ARE YOU CONDITIONING?!?! I’d always say yes! Large globs of conditioner in the shower, I’d go through it terribly fast, and just let it sit on my hair while I cleaned myself up and stayed there even longer for it to soak it in! And for those of you who will ask or say: what about an oil afterwards to seal it?! YEP WAS DOING THAT TOO AND DIDNT WORK. My poor hair was just not having it and I am someone who doesn’t use a ton of products, never dyed my hair, so it was weird to be in the issue. So as I said before I just gave up on my hair not being dry and that it looked like a terrible broom; not smooth and sleek or anything.Instead over the last about 12 years now I’ve worked on finding products with natural ingredients that don’t hurt my body. There is a ton of marketing to claim a product is natural but I highly highly will encourage anyone to check beyond the branding and marketing because there is a TON of products that will say they are natural and good for you and filled with stuff that is known to cause your body harm. I state this because it’s something that did draw me to J.R LIGETTS. They really do have products that are good for you which is rare! I originally found them in a local shop in Ventura CA and got their shampoo which was AMAZING! Then found out about the conditioner bar and decided through Amazon because I didn’t know if I’d like to buy a bulk order directly from them yet. I needed to know if the conditioner was a match to me or not.We have been using this conditioner for 3 months now - this size bar. My mom and I use it and we both have long hair. I’ll upload more pictures as my hair is up right now. She has curly and I have wavy hair. It’s revitalized my hair and I will be ordering directly from them to do bulk orders of shampoo and conditioner for our family and extended family! I’m always telling friends and family about products that don’t have harmful chemicals and won’t have to later be worried about what it did to your body. Plus I love and believe in supporting small businesses! Extractive economics is not helping us. Helping local economies helps all of us

Update: i wanted to love this but sadly I do not. At first it was great but then it started making my hair feel coated. When dry, I could barely brush my hair and it felt gross. I got the peppermint one. I will shampoo with it once in a while to use it up but not everytime.I have a lot of hair. The first time I used it my hair was fairly dirty. Cleans well and smells nice. Hair feels good. I was worried about getting it worked through my hair. Rubbed around my hairline and then parted a couple spots on top and back. Soaped up really well. I'm ready to try other scents. Wrapper is paper. Threw in recycle bin. No big bottle waste.

While I have been wanting to try bar shampoo for a long time, I was skeptical about this product. Now I am really glad that I tried it. It leaves my hair soft and clean and I love using it. I have very thick, dry hair almost down to my waist that I wash daily. This bar lathers nicely with the help of coconut oil as opposed to sulfates. The smell was odd to me at first but it isn't bad. It's kind of what I would expect an "old fashioned" soap to smell like. I leave the bar on a ventilated rack when not in use. I would not recommend leaving this in a soap dish as it will get slimy and shrink faster. They sell holders for this soap, so I ordered the plastic case and will review it after it arrives.I do use a separate conditioner with this soap on most days (Organix Coconut Milk) as my hair does get tangled even though I wash it carefully. I use a cider vinegar rinse 2x a week and my hair has no tangles after using it.This is perfect for any one going "low-poo." I would also recommend this to people who want to be able to bring shampoo with them while traveling but do not want to deal with plastic bottles. It is also great for people trying to get away from sulfates, alcohol, and other damaging chemicals. Some people may go through a transition period when first using this and may experience some waxy, oily buildup on the scalp. Try to give this product at least a week to get used to. I personally only had the buildup for a day or two. I liked this soap so much that I ordered the herbal version and can't wait to try that one out.My only complaint about this shampoo is that it is not good for washing out hair grease (coconut oil/shea butter mix). If you use coconut oil to protect your hair, you may want to have a regular non sulfate shampoo on hand to wash it out.

The first time I bought this bar shampoo, it worked great leaving my hair feeling clean and not weighted down. So I ordered 9 more bars. The new bars leave a waxy build up on my hair. I can’t even get a comb through my hair after using this. My hair does not feel good nor does it feel soft. I won’t be buying any more! Not sure what ingredient this company uses that leaves my hair waxy and unmanageable. My hair feels clumpy and looks like I put too much gel on it, which by the way, I never use! My daughter has worse luck with this shampoo than I do! I have to use a conditioner to help manage my hair but my daughter, who has straight hair (mine is curly), has to use vinegar to get the waxy stuff out. It doesn’t feel good nor does it look good. Bad shampoo!

Very disappointed of the size of bar compared to price.

Son buenos además de ser naturales,al primer uso sentí el pelo duro pero pasando unos minutos queda suavecito y manejable excelente producto recomendado.

El cabello queda con una textura bastante fea que hace imposible que sea manejable, aunque me supongo que es por la acción anticaspa. Pero mejor probaré otros

tiene mezcla de muchos aceites, se supone que no tiene jabon, pero si hace mucha espuma, me queda la duda, que aceite hace tanta espuma… despues de enjuagar el cabello, se atorran hasta las manos, parece que me lave con Jabon de ropa 🥺

No me gustó que en la foto del producto muestran barras acondicionadoras de 90 g, pero yo recibí una mini barra de 50 g.Revisando bien, en la descripción sí dice que son 50 g, pero de todos modos, la foto confunde. Ya probando el producto, sí me gustó y es de buena calidad.

Usually I can't try new shampoo as I get itchy or feel gross. I couldn't believe how lovely this shampoo was, light considering the oil ( I've naturally greasy hair), smells nice, great lather, only needed a little bit. Used it on my body too and skin felt soft and clean. Thank you to the creators- I get dry eyes from my current shampoo that I've used for 10 years plus, unable to change it to any other- great success!
