Sunwheel Pear and Apple Spread 300 gm

My Mam used to get this when I was a child.I have been looking for this for a long time. It was well packaged . Arrived before delivery date.Tastes better than I remember . My 2 youngest children love this . Spreads lovely on Ryvita , my children love it on toast . Can be used on pancakes or on ice cream . Will definitely be ordering more in the future.

This is wonderful stuff.It's a very dark spread. It looks a lot like Marmite and has a consistency like chocolate spread. But the flavour is rich, fruity, and sweet. You can taste the pear and the apple, which is hard to describe but it has a slightly tart and baked flavour as opposed to being a fresh fruit flavour. There's no mistaking the fruits in the spread though; whereas some dried/baked fruit products such as fruit leathers and strips tend to lose some of the fruits characteristic flavours, this spread preserves that apply/peary flavour.Both of my children absolutely adore this spread on toast. It's also fabulous dolloped onto ice-cream. A second order has just been made!

This product is exactly like dutch appelstroop. I recently moved to the UK and needed it in a recipe and couldn’t find it anywhere, thankfully i was able to get it here and now enjoy eating it again. I don’t taste the pear much to be honest, but that’s not a bad thing.

I spread this on toast in the afternoons when Im craving something sweet, so it stops me from eating junk food. I admit that it did taste funny the first time I had it, but I very quickly got used to it.I first bought this brand years ago, but the spread was a different flavour (apricot). I wish Amazon would stock the apricot flavour.

I’m a big fan of the yummy apple butter you can pick up all over the USA in the autumn, but that’s tricky to get here in the U.K, so I was delighted to see this product. Bit disappointing, but if I wasn’t comparing it to what I actually wanted, I’m sure I’d rate it higher! My other half liked it though, it all got eaten!

For first time I missed some, chunks, its super-smooth like a velvety liquor, but its goes very well with my soya yoghurt, or with a single spoon only😅Superb product, highly recommended, Ill definitely buy it again

I usually very like natural food, but this spread...it something that looks not good (dark brown slimy thing), taste not good (taste like something burned, sickly sweet and sticks to teeth). Even my kids who usually love everything sweet after trying it refuse to try it ever again. So sadly I would not like to buy it again as full jar still in fridge and nobody want to touch it.

Like fruity Marmite! A little goes a long way. Intense fruit flavour. Great on toast and crackers, also to flavour plain yogurt. Can be used as a sponge cake filling with Mascarpone or cream cheese.
