Tough install..but beautiful final product

The globe is in another language and does not line up with itself. It does not come with enough screws or lightbulbs to complete the light. Planes are poorly welded and easily fall apart. The pieces do not line up and are very difficult to construct if not impossible without using specialized tools. There are no instructions for actually putting the lamp together rather a sheet of printer paper with brief instructions on attaching it to the ceiling. This is a cool looking lamp in concept but don’t fall for it you won’t be able to make it look that good UNLESS you have specialized tools and are willing to cut and alter parts of the light.

Looks exactly like the picture. The earth stopped rotating which is fine because I didn’t know it rotated when I purchased it. (UPDATE: I still like it but the earth fell off and the rotation sound without the globe is annoying. I did reach out to the company and I didn’t get no response after I sent the video in)

I bought this ceiling airplane light for my grandson in May 2020. He absolutely loves it. It is beautifully made and is a nice quality! Every night when it’s bedtime he has to touch the wheels and propeller on each airplane. And, of course the Earth! He’s 3 yo now, and I am very happy with this fixture. We have had no problems with it!

It says it need e26 light bulbs. Turns out, 3 is e26, and the other 3 is unknown!!!!!!!!! And I ran down 3 times to Home Depot. None of them match, either size of base is not correct or the tube around the base is designed too small to fit in. It’s not a good quality products. I can buy it from taobao, or alibaba for $50. And also I’m 100%sure most the reviews are fake. And above review is coming from a Chinese. I know how this is.

Very difficult to install due to the length of connection wires and location of connection bolts. The fact that the mount is flushed against the wall, you literally have no room to connect the wires (most ceiling fans will give you a longer black and red wire, but not this product. Then, you have to align the bolts that connect the mount to the wall... the bolts are not set in place, they have to be lined up... Totally crazy!!! I forgot to mention that this product does not have an English set of instructions and when I placed on the ceiling one of the light fixtures does not work. A nightmare purchase!!!

But this beauty is a nightmare to install And it doesn’t come with bulbs. The mounting bracket isn’t US standard and it’s hard to gauge where the screws go through the holes. Also, there’s little room to work with the wires since it’s flush. I recommend that before hanging the mounting bracket, space out the screws on it to ensure they line up with the light’s base holes. Then tighten the bolts around the screws carefully and then mount the bracket to the electrical box. Mine came with a few extra bolts, so once the screw were through the holes, I tighten the extra bolts to the ends to ensure it was tight and flushed. Once it’s mounted, it’s awesome! The picture doesn’t do it justice. Another perk is that the globe spins! I wasn’t expecting that.

This is definitely made out of quality materials. Though still too Expensive. A lot have mentioned that installation is difficult. YES it is, BUT I cannot see any other way it could be for ceiling flush mount units. (Have done many of them and this one took me the longest). However the instructions could have been a bit better/clearer. Looks like trying to fit all instructions into one page/ one image seems to he a way to save money… Final assembled version is an AMAZING ceiling fixture… I personally enjoy it every time I walk into the room. The globe spinning creates a unpleasant (but Not loud) background noise. Easy to remove this functionality by just not connecting the globe motor’s wires. (But now I have to partially dismantle…) probably a static globe could do. Now for the WORST part for us personally - heavy damage in delivery. (I don’t think this would happen to many). Packaging seemed adequate, all in custom-molded styrofoam case. Each of the three bulb covers were in an individual compartment … so how on earth I don’t know, one suffered a damage by something puncturing the box-styrofoam case and shattered the cover. To the CREDIT of the vendor they’ve reimbursed but I would have honestly loved to receive a spare cover… we are one short.

It looks great. Just a bit noisy when it is on and the globe spins.
