Got a great deal on these 75% off after Christmas. Bought at Amazon fresh and picked it up. I normally would not buy food from Amazon because it arrives in bad shape, either smashed or crushed or melted. However since this was Amazon fresh pick up, I gave it a shot.Product was in good shape. Chocolate was tasty. My only critique is that the dark chocolate overpowers the peppermint. Maybe those that like dark chocolate would be OK with this, but it wasn't my cup of hot chocolate.

I make Christmas crack, the toffee based candy, every year during holiday season. I am always looking for new toppings that will complement the dark chocolate and toffee. These peppermint squares by Ghirardelli are perfect. It’s a mild peppermint flavor and everybody goes hmmmmm. These are delicious. They melt easily on the hot toffee and if you use a knife, you can swirl the peppermint around the dark chocolate that they’re being placed on. Another nice feature is that each peppermint square is individually wrapped, so it stays fresher longer. Ghirardelli is a great manufacturer of peppermint and other candies. Highly recommend this product.

I love love love the texture and flavor of this small candy square. I only have had one problem and that is they are not always packed properly and arrive in a soft bag which gives me the squares in little pieces. It's so annoying. The flavor is there but when I open the little pieces fall all over the place. I realize it's the Amazon packaging people but thought someone should know!!!
