I have used these for many years. They do not get the mice out of your house. You need to use mouse traps for that. Once you get them out, they are very helpful in keeping them out. You have to be sure to seal any entry points where the mice get in. They are not 100% effective, but they are worth buying because they do help. You just have to have realistic expectations.

I have at least one in every room. I know they work because I referred others and they saw the magic too. Speaking for myself I put one on the kitchen wall that shared the living room wall. I no longer hear mice going from behind the dishwasher up the wall. The night light has been a blessing because each room has enough light to save me from flipping the switch after I am in rest mode. Saving me on electric costs. I sleep in a room with one and I hear nothing from it. There is something I am not sure about. In the craft room, I hear a constant mumm sound. I can't tell if it is the device or a neighbor's etc. It is not ever going to cause me to take it out of the wall. Before I bought these I saw three mice together playing family. Not one has been here since plugging these up. Don't crowd the area where you need this is. And try to use a shared wall it will save you money. Kindness is free if you can afford to. BUy at least 2 for your direct neighbor. I can't promise it is for the best.

These are marketed as being silent to humans and animals. My wife and I can both hear buzzing from all 3 units when they are plugged in. The night light function works; but, they are pretty bright if you are light sensitive while sleeping. They work fine in hallways to not ruin your vision and provide light; but, they are intended more for rooms than hallways. Now to performance. I put one in my garage. As a side note the product description says they are for small/normal size rooms. My garage certainly isn’t that. However. I put one out anyway as that is the intrusion point to my home for the mice; and because I could hear them buzzing inside I decided to try the one we removed from our bedroom. Fast forward to the next day I had an old Tom and Jerry style snap trap still out that was within 3 feet of the unit. My wife said she heard a snap and sure enough there was a fresh mouse in the trap right under the plugged in unit. I really wanted these to work, but, I think I learned the hard way that they’re gimmicky and not really functional for me. I don’t have the pack again; shame on me, so I can’t even return them to get my money back. Hope this helps someone avoid wasting their money.

I bought these to help deal with a mouse problem, and they do seem to work. That said, I also put out several traps before using these, so it’s hard to say how much of the success is from the repellers alone versus the combination. One thing to be aware of: the high-frequency noise is audible, and it can be annoying if the unit is plugged into the same circuit as a heavy-draw appliance or power tool. It’s not unbearable, but it’s noticeable. Overall, they appear to help and are easy to use. Just be mindful of where you plug them in and manage expectations — best used as part of a broader pest control approach, as the manufacture recommends.

It's mentioned a few times that this product is pet safe, but I was a bit skeptical. When we purchased it, I plugged it in about 15 feet away from where my dog was sitting on the couch. There was a cushion between her and the device. Even so, as soon as I plugged it in her ears popped up and her head tilted, a common reaction to new sounds. I then moved and plugged the device in about 10 feet from her, with nothing between her and the device. As soon as I did so she popped up and trotted out of the room looking anxious. She eventually left the room and would not come back until we turned this device off. As such, I would not call this product pet-safe, and it was unusable for us. It may be good in a household without pets, but the manufacturer needs to be more clear about that.

Let me start out by stating that I never had rodents in my home because I took care to seal off seams and cracks with steel wool and plaster. I live in rat infested NYC btw. Anyways, for years now I was living in fear because I kept hearing rodents running in the walls and the ceilings. I just knew one day they would find a way in and I would finally meet my maker. I have been using this for two weeks straight and the rodent noises are GONE!!! I can now sleep in peace with some sanity. Idk what would happen with those who have an in house problem, but it definitely solved my issue. I may even buy more and distribute to be immediate neighbors so that we’re all protected. Good luck.

Worked better than anything else I tried! I highly suggest having traps set still after installing this. After I plugged mine in, the rats started going straight to the traps. Sometimes every 5 mins I caught another one, literally at least ten that evening. We had these same traps set in the same spots for months and had only caught 3 total. Thr sonic device was literally a game changer. It was insane, my husband couldn't believe that we were catching them this quick. They also ran out into my backyard. They were all gone after only 2 days with these. Definitely going to keep these and couldn't recommend them more!
