Mark! Set! Go! Instrument Fingerboard Tape: Gold Tape with Black Felt

I never used tapes and bought these for my daughter. They work well, and as I still consider myself a beginner I put them on my violin and they do help with muscle memory for intonation which I am still working on. As far as not sticking well, mine are fine but my daughter's have started to peel at the edges. They aren't supposed to be used forever anyway and there are plenty in the pack to re-apply a few times. As far as residue, if you are concerned with it ruining your handmade violin I recommend playing a student instrument until you don't need them, otherwise it isn't that hard to take off.

Good stickers. The gold comes off after a while.

I have played violin for several years and still I like these finger markers. I mark only 3rd, 5th and 7th position. They're cheap and for me they work.

Unfortunately, the tape does not stick very well and I find myself having to repeatedly re-stick it. Can't beat the price though!

The adhesive on these stickers is not very good. They do not stick and stay very well.

I like these tapes because their easy to stick on, but they peel off really easily. It's a pain to keep removing them and sticking them on all the time.
