This game is an absolute blast! We played Mafia on New Year’s Eve with about a dozen people, and it kept everyone laughing, accusing, and totally engaged. It’s easy to learn, works great with a big group, and makes for an unforgettable party game. Definitely a hit!

Instead of having to use regular cards, this makes playing mafia so much easier. It is a great fun game to play as well. With all the bad reviews, I thought it may come in damaged. However, mines came in brand new and in great shape. This game is very fun to play. It can allow a lot of people to play different roles in each round. It comes with rules and a case to put the cards in.

My family loved this game. It’s definitely a good family game night game for all ages. Loved the different characters and their roles which made it super fun and enjoyable for everyone to be involved. Easy to understand and it’s always suggested in my house.

The first round or two can be a bit confusing, as can some of the "extra" roles. Basically, players draw cards with a role/character on them. The default is civilian. There is a moderator and everyone else puts their head down and one by one, all the other characters are called and perform some sort of act (selecting someone to save, vote someone out, ask the moderator if one person is the "mafia", etc.). The idea is that each round, one character gets eliminated (unless some of the twists in the game prevent it) and the rest have to guess "who dunnit". Then heads down and it starts again until either you only have players with mafia cards left (or the majority mafia depending upon the number of players) or the mafia get eliminated. Once you get into the swing of things it can go pretty quickly and gets to be a lot of fun. There are quite a number of "extra" characters who have different roles such as undoing an action, or pretending to be mafia when they are not, and all sorts of other things. If you have a large number of players, adding these in can change things up quite a bit. It was a great game to play with family at the beach as it didn't require any equipment or special skills, all ages (I'd say 6+) can play, it moves fairly quickly (you aren't sitting around a game board for hours), and the number playing is flexible. There aren't a lot of games that can be played with 14 people, ages 6 to senior citizen.

We play Mafia game with a large group of about 10 people aged from 10 to 50 years old and it was really fun. You can also modify/adjust the assigned roles as needed. My 10-year-old loves it and did a great job as the narrator and storyteller. The Miller (civilian whose role is to be a fake mafia) can throw people off easily while "Grandma with a gun" role is the most powerful role. To keep the game interesting, make sure all the players will need to keep their role a secret and not disclose their role until they are dead and out of the game (then they can watch the game freely)

Good guys: 16 Civilian Cards - bystanders 01 Detective/Cop - can check who each role is one at a time 01 Doctor - can save a person 01 Miller - a good guy, but if the detective investigated them, they’re shown as mafia (they’re innocent though) 01 Cupid - at the start of the game, Cupid selects two players to be lovers. If one lover dies, so does the other. 01 Bus Driver - can select two people to switch actions each night. (I.e. if player 1 is murdered, the bus driver can accidentally switch player 1 with player 2, and player 2 dies) 01 Undercover Cop - deep in cover with the mafia, they wake up with the mafia but are good guys and must try to sabotage the mafia without getting caught. Neutral roles: 01 Grandma With a Gun - ANYONE WHO VISITS RHIS PLAYER AT NIGHT DIES. FRIEND OR FOE, THEY DIE INSTANTLY. If selected by mafia, the mafia dies. 01 Magician - can kill any person once. Or save any person once from elimination. 01 Postman - upon dying, the postman can choose a player to join them in death. 01 vigilante - same as the magician, can kill whomever, but only once. Bad guys: 04 Mafia cards - murderers 01 God Father - the boss of the mafia. Wakes with the mafia and appears as innocent if investigated. The mafia lose if the god father dies 01 Lawyer - evil, can defend a mafia member each night. 01 Made Man - “the recruiter” only once per game, can they pick a random player to join the mafia team. Wakes with the mafia. 01 Bartender - evil, but doesn’t know who the mafia is. Selects a player to cancel their ability during the night. Special roles: 01 Serial Killer - can kill anyone, wins only if they’re the last one standing. 02 Rival Mafia - can have another mafia team to fight against the mafia and the players. 01 Moderator - the host of the game

Game is really fun. You *can* play this game without this card set by making your own, but having this deck makes it way easier to just grab and start playing. Comes with many options outside of just being civilians too which is fun. Great for a big group of people.

Je m'attendais à quelque chose de plus grand ! C'est vraiment une très petite pochette de jeu ! Sinon, c'était bien le jeu en question mais comme c'était un cadeau, je n'ai pas joué.

Great Game

Bought this game after playing it at a friend's house. If you love the traitors you'll love playing this. Easy, fun and good for all the family. Quick game, loads of rounds. Quality of the cards is good and comes in a very compact case so easy to store and take with you if going away.
