Nice texture. Nice flavour. Walked the South Downs Way over ten days on these (also had some of the brand's companion chews). The conditions on the walk were brutal... rained heavily for four days, with heavy showers on four other days, soaked through twice despite having all the right kit, bitingly cold winds, 50mph on occasion, all despite it being early September! I nearly gave up (twice), but kept going despite the sagging spirits and exhaustion of battling with the conditions (which were also slippery underfoot). I was 65 when I did this walk. Never done anything quite on this scale before, so it's hard to know what impact these had on that walk, but I'm convinced they added something to my stamina I didn't have, especially when things got tough or close to being hyperthermic. The bars stay in good condition in the pocket or backpack. It's a given that I will continue to buy these as my 'goto' for hiking. In fact I may swear by them.

These are great snack bars. I don’t run or cycle, but I do hike uphill and down dale, several times a week. I found I was experiencing low blood sugar especially going up hill, so these are ideal. I ordered the variety box and can honestly say I like them all and really like the fact that they contain no weird ingredients you have never heard of or chicory root fibre which plays havoc with my digestion. However, as I am hiking and not cycling or running, I have found that I prefer the 2 bars that contain higher protein, as this raises my blood sugar more gradually and falls more slowly. I know this for certain because I have been wearing a Freestyle Libre Plus 2 blood sugar monitor, which has been very useful, available on Amazon.

Not cheap but delicious - I’m not great with the traditional energy snacks but these seem to fill me up and power me on like “normal” food just in a handy size and convenient wrapper!To open the bars, grip in fist and slam down on your handlebars and the veloforte wonderment pops out the top! (Saves fiddling with the wrapper with two hands - great in the wind!)

Used these when I was cycling the Hebridean Way. I found them quite tasty and filling.

First given to me by another fellow cyclists to try, I then purchased my own pack of these bars. What makes them great is 1. Not too sweet but a taste of cinnamon and 2. the softeness of the bar which at the same time does not melt in the back pocket of a jersey. Grabbing a mouthful when stopping with the group at a junction you can chew and swallow unlike a lot of cycling nutrition. If you need a change from gels these are great. Only downside is the price so not used too often but utterly delicious when I do.

The best energy bars i’ve ever tried. I’ve always used another bar (beginning with C) but since trying these wont be going back. Incredibly tasty and easy to digest on a ride. Flavors are really good. This pack allows you to try them all and decide which you like the most. They are expensive but if used sparingly on longer rides worth it!!

The bars are incredibly tasty and I enjoy eating them on long rides, however they do contain a large number of additives, which I am trying to avoid.
