This is a yummy dressing for salads.

Our family's favorite salad dressing! It's becoming more to difficult to find in grocery stores, so I'm happy I can purchase it through Amazon. Nice vinaigrette flavor and delicious on Greek salad.

I've used this dressing since 1968, when I found it at the now-closed Jamail's Market in Houston, TX. As another reviewer pointed out, it is NOT sweet, which makes it versatile - I've used it not only as a salad dressing for greens, but to toss hot vegetables (green beans, broccoli, asparagus), as a dressing in cold pasta salads where it's thin consistency at room temperature is just right, and even as a marinade/baste for steaks & fish. Over the years, the manufacturers have changed, but fortunately the recipe has not. There used to be a blue cheese version, but simply adding crumbled blue - or feta - or other cheese to this basic vinaigrette gives you the same flavor.

This vinegarette is the real deal. It tastes exactly like one that I used to make from scratch! I would suggest pouring it into a plastic container and spooning it over your salad because when you pour it out of the bottle all the good herbs and spices stay at the bottom. So it works better if you pour it into a plastic container and save it in your refrigerator that way and then stir it up and spoon it over your salad. It’s magnificent and make sure salads have that extra punch!‼️❤️

I love, love, love this dressing. I have been eating it off and on my whole life as I ran across it in specialty stores. So great to have it available on-line. This is unlike just about any other dressing I have ever found. It is not sweet! There may be some sugar or corn syrup in it, but what you taste is oil, vinegar and spices. I've found that people who love many commercially available, overly-sweet dressings do not like this much.For best results, refrigerate it first, as it is very, very runny. It will mix better when cold and the oil is thicker.

Nothing, nothing compares to La Martinique Poppy Seed Dressing! If you have not had La Martinique Poppy Seed dressing-you may not know how much you love this flavor. It would be difficult to eat any fruit, without a dollop of this dressing-sad even. Anything La Martinique makes-is- the Best There Is!
