They work like a charm
Just ordered my second set of these for my other broken controller. I previously went through 4 different sets of plastic triggers before happening upon these metal replacements about 6 months ago. They work like a charm. Though the previous set I bought had R1/L1 buttons that didn't quite work as smoothly as I liked, so I used only the R2/L2, which is all I needed. But if you have the same broken trigger problem I had, this is sure to work for you.

So far so good fits perfectly into my gen one controllers. be warned, be sure the silicone boots are perfectly aligned underneath, its easy to knock them slightly out of place when opening and fiddling with the innards. it may cause a false sense of "it doesn't fit right" syndrome or mushy buttons. Will update if I get durability problems.

Don't use the springs
This fit up into my Gen 1 controller really well. The post on one side of the L2 trigger was a hair too thin but still has just enough to snap in. Rating this 4 stars because it comes with a pair of new springs that are junk. DON'T USE THEM. They are softer/weaker than the ones already in the controller, and since I've misplaced the original I now have one extremely soft scope trigger.

Fit perfect, great replacment, bought a 2nd set for my other controller.
I bought some plastic ones to replace my broken R2 trigger, and they didn't fit. So I bought these since I liked the idea of metal ones. They fit perfectly! So after I write this review I will be ordering a 2nd set for my other controller. Love these buttons, and yes they fit perfectly, and the provided springs were nice and strong.

They fit and work!
I had to replace my plastic triggers about 5 times. I got tired of it and decided to try these metal ones out . They fit perfect and work. The people who say they don't probably don't have the spring set right or the rubber magnet put back in place properly.

Solid
These shoulder buttons look and feel great. Luckily, installation was easy. They're pretty solid, not just because they're made of metal, but they don't feel lose.
