14" Very High Temperature K-Type Thermometer with Ceramic Insulated Probe Sensor for Kiln, Crucible and Forge up to 2372 °F 1300 °C Model CR-9

This thermometer looked like it was made well, the practice run looked good, it was displaying ambient temperature. The first use in my kiln it did fine. Registered the temp as it increased, got to temp and cooled down rapidly when the kiln was turned off. When I removed it from my kiln, the probe was bent at a 30 degree angle! It still registered the ambient temperature, so I tried it again in my kiln. Once I read the full instructions, I found it takes some time to warm up, about 10 minutes. It is still working just fine, despite the bend in the probe. This is an edited review. I jumped the gun before reading the whole booklet of instructions. I do recommend this thermometer. It works great!

Using for a propane kiln. Works great!

Don't tell accurate temp. Cheep made, but does somewhat ok. Let's me know within a 100 degrees, but cheep.
